Sydney Ausyralia huge rent increases, this has been going on for quite awhile. You see a of the media about this and it"s like there 200 tennants for any property. So what happens to the "losers".Most people needing to rent only have a limited time to find a new home, so what then.
As rents get higher and higher, less property for rent. Are we creating more homeless ?

People will always need a place to stay. I look at the situation you mentioned much like the idea of oil. When the supply goes down the price goes up. People who invested in oil or in your case, homes, are there to make a profit. What the other people need to do is make more money or find another area. Isn't that just like oil? We all need to either make more money or find another area (electic cars).
