Do you think that "Self Respect" is greater than other things?

I respect myself first, and after that I respect others, people may have different thoughts, I had seen many people they respect the money and post where they working for, some time their boss may say anything, they used to listen all the words against him or her, just because of job or the position they got already, they dont want to loose that position, as per my view I can't do that. Are you look for position or your self respect?
