I do prefer and have more one mail ID as once I even had forgotten the mail password. Later I created two mail ID which is still in use and these are also classified as my personal needs ID and business or work base need ID. Haveing more than one ID may even arise confusion in certain may be in my case. Still I do have two IDs and am planning to create one more. Maybe to give more mail IDs in different sits could also be helpfull as some of mail IDs sites may not be accepted every where. Moslty I prefer IDs from yahoo.com in the initial stages but now I prefer mail.com site.

hi shamrack! before, i thought i only needed one email account. but as i joined a lot of different sites, my email got crowded so i decided to create another email account. i have four email accounts as of today and i use them in different websites that i joined. also, since all of them are yahoo mails, i can use all of them in geocities and i can upload more pictures and i can avoid running out of bandwith. and then, among the four emails, one of them is my official email which i use in important transactions, websites that i regularly visit and which i also use in chatting.

Fo many years, really until a year or tow ago I only had one email account. But since getting onto different online auctions and other sites I had to have different emais, And it;s easy to use different ones for different things.I now have three, two of which I use a lot and check several times a day.The other I donn't really use for selling so I only check about once a day, The main thing for me is remebering to check them all.

Mainly i have one main a/c and i have other mail-id with different reason for it.I mostly use my primary or main a/c id in most cases.I think there may be reason for more then one mail-id as i have.I have some bit of confusion so i write mail-id with their password in datafile.Like you, I have mostly from yahoo.com but now i have some from gmail.com also.

I will prefer to have multiple mail IDs and not having just one ^_^ Because it looks much more organised and it separates my work and personal mails.. hehe ^_^ It's juts like life, there's a time whereby we need to relax and get away from busy schedule.. SO i guess nobody can really relax when they open their mail on a weekend or during holidays, to see that their inbox is full of work and assignments right ^_^ hehe

I think i have 3 different email accounts, but my email server allows me to collect the mail from all three into the one inbox, that way, I don't have to go searching for them all. Remembering passwords is not a strong point of mine.
