It was the topic that caught my attention when i was surfing..it is a real satire of oil price hike that is happening all across the globe.. http://www.tehelka.com/story_main39.asp?filename=Op050708culturevulture.asp The author digs at the present situation and make a mockery of the scenario that if spiraling price hike would leave us with no other alternative than choosing the old modes of transport..horses.. Certainly thought provoking..article.

It will turn out to be something like that your people will start buying motorcycles and scooters to get around. They are better on gas right about now. Things will start to change all over the world because of the high gas prices. It will continue until the prices go down. But right now I dont' see the prices going down at all anytime soon. Have a good one.

Agreed, the prices will go down.. if measures like increased production are taken up..and this is not the final solution to this problem.. as the resources of oil.. is finite. One day or other it will exhaust from this earth.. It is the right time for the heads of all countries to think unitedly to find an alternate source of fuel.. I recently saw in news that a Japanese firm has produced a car that runs on water. I saw that clipping.. Really innovations like this must come and should be encouraged.

Although i havn't have the experice of riding on a horse, i do hope we may get the chance some day, as a mode of transport, without auto-exault, without car accident, that's a good of protecting enviroment.
