i think that everyone has noticed that todays gas prices are getting so high that we won't be able to go hardly anywhere soon,i mean gas in my state is at four dollars a gallon and it just seems to be going up more and more all of the time and as far as i have heard it isn't going down anytime soon. so i was just wondering if todays gas prices is affecting anyone else besides me and what do you think about the rising gas prices? what do you think our problem is the reason its so high and what can we do to fix it?

today's gas prices are rocketing being of the high demand on the global market... thus, it greatly affected us, consumers especially us, in third world countries... but, through proper information desimission on how to conserve things that uses gas i think it may help in todays dilemma regarding that matter...

Saudi's say there is no need to pump more oil. Enough is flowing into the market. supply and demand are met.

Yeah, they are affecting me as well. I try to think of ways I dont have to drive now. I used to love to drive around, but now I think that it can wait till I am out already. I dont know what is making them so high and I doubt they are going down. They are at 3.92 a gallon right now in our area.

Dear friend, I hope it would be better some other more cheap alternative is found soon for this gas which has a rising price. More over even the other consumer products and those transported products are hiking their prices. May price rise in other things are also affected as they are connected to gas price directly and indirectly. Hence it is seen a price hike in many consumer products.

Dear friend, In India the gas has increased to Rs.50/- were $1 is = Rs.41. Hence this has effected the a price rise in other commodities especially the transportation charges has been effected. So all most all house hold needs prices has been increased. I hope a better alteranative for this gas could be big boon to those common people. May more of organic products or environmental friendly technology should be introduced.

It is now 2 months after you posted this discussion and I think the gas prices have gone down quite a bit since then, at least it has here in Calgary, Alberta. Our prices at the pump are slowly going down and are now 1.22 per litre and that isn't too bad considering it went up tp $1.40 a litre. I hope it continues to drop as the price has gotten to be crazy and I feel there is no need for this. I think that it is all a money game and the oil companies and our governments just want to gouge us and make more money for themselves. I don't think there is a need for this. Notice that now that summer is almost over the price has dropped? Funny how that is. Same thing for long weekends, why does the price always go up just before a long weekend. I don't really expect an answer to that.

in our place the gas seems to get high by the minute, lucky for me that i dont have a car. but the worst part of this once the gasp rice shoots up all the prices of anything goes with the flow. food and things go up as well. i have four children and i am a single mom and i am really having a hard time on budgeting. it is a struggle to make both ends meet. i dont think this will change, i think we need to change. slowly i think we need to go back to basics, like riding horse or bicycle. we need to find a way on how to cut of the gas consumption. it is not easy but i think that is where we are heading. well it is just my opinion

its killing us here in south africa. the price here is over ten rand a LITRE. diesel is over twelve rand a litre. given that the average salary here is 2000 rand per month, its rediculous.

Today some places went up to $4.14 for the holiday weekend. I think personally I've had enough. There has to be something we can do.....I don't know what but something. One of our state legislatures just wrote a big article about the fact that there is no shortage...we are just getting gouged!

There could be a lot of reasons for the high oil prices. The one thing that I do know is that the people are the ones that are paying the price for it. It will be a while before things go down.

Having just moved from somewhere where we pay roughly 1GBP/litre (Or about $8/Gallon), I've not felt too heartbroken about it yet ;)

yea, gas prices is getting outrageous here as well. 3.87-3.99 a gallon. I went to a site where there is a new invention that will help you save gas by 60 percent. It has to do with mixing water with your gas. Has anyone else heard of it? I went to the site and it seemed really logical. If i can find the site, I will put it in here so everyone and anyone can look at it. But I am thinking very hard about getting it. And it is on 67 dollars to get! I say it is very worth it considering how the prices are going up.

I walk when ever possiable. I walk to pay bills and walk to the store if it is only for a few things. I am afraid it is only going to get worse. I heard up to $7.00 dollars by 2010. ouch. I am schooling for a job at home. few more months I'll graduate and start to save on gas.
