Do you use the same password for all the sites you joined?

All of us here in the net have memberships and sometimes, memorizing each password and user ID for every site we joined is very confusing. I don't worry that much since in most of the sites I joined such as emails, friendster, other social networks, PTC, PTR, blogs, etc. I am using "chrysz". As with the password, I used to have only one password but there came a point when I left my email opened in an internet cafe. My hubby told me to modify it at once - all of them. What about you? Have you had problems with your passwords you wanna share?

well for me all my internet usename is the same but the diferent will be in password, by using this method it is very easily to remember my username but it will became a lot of problem to key in my password sometime. For key in one password to login in internet sometime i use halfday to remember that password to login in internet. So now i take a consideration to use the username and password will be only one in every login in internet. But still in yhinking it is safe to made it like that, does anybody told me it is safe,if i using all my username and pasword as same when i login in internet.

No, I have several different passwords I use for different things. I always have this feeling that someone who works for ebay, for example, will know my ebay password and try it at paypal and steal my money. Lol. Anything that has to do with my bank or money has a different password than my email accounts and all the silly little sites I belong to that have another password. I have a little book I write all of my usernames and passwords in.

I feel exactly the same!!! I'm always afraid that someone could find my password and then steal my money on paypal or on my banc account. For the important things I use different passwords, and for websites memberships or so I use nearly always the same pseudo and password.

hi chrysz! i also use similar usernames so it won't be hard for me to remember when logging in. as for password, i thought before that it is advantageous to use the same password for every account that i create. but then i realized, if that password is discovered by someone, then it would be like discovering my password for all of my accounts! and that is dangerous. so i use different passwords for my accounts, but there's only a few of them and i only differ them by adding numbers. and i never will, ever, think of sharing my passwords to anybody else unless it is very important and necessary.

Before i don't have my own computer,I just go in an internet cafe. And before i just have my email and that's it.I actually don't have interest in computers before. Now i've got my laptop, and needing this because this is my way to reach my boyfriend abroad.I use only one password for my friendster,my email, skype,ym and of course mylot.I don't think i could handle different kinds of passwords since i'm very forgetful now.Since i'm the only one using this i don't even bother to change my passwords.I'm ok with this.

Yes I do use the same password for all the sites I join. This way I can remember the passwords. If I would have different passwords for all my sites I would forget them all unless I write them down.

i can't always use the same password as some sites have different terms for passwords, some require you to include numbers etc, but i always try to keep them similar so i can remember them.

I'm bad at remembering, thus, i have generic password, depends on the type of the site/importance. Such as, is it for the email or is it for networking sites such as friendster, facebook, etc. Seldom i make different password. Though i did make a new one for my mylot account ;) But if i do make an account somewhere with a different password than i usually have, i keep the notification email that was sent to your inbox the first time we make our subscription. Some of them also put our password. Then if i forgot, i just search in my inbox for that.

I tend to use the same password for all the sites I joined in but there are other sites that require a password with a combination of letters and numbers or just plainly numbers. That's where I get confused. But as much as possible I try to keep the same password so I won't have problems logging in later.

well..yes and no for your question. It depends on the importance of the sites that i joined. For money-wise related sites,i will not make the same password that i always use for common sites or forums .for example Friendster, facebook, commercialize sites are all under the category of not important to me,so its better that i use one password for all of them since it is more convenient.

I use the same password in almost all sites I've joined. I'm terrible with remembering different passwords that before, I had a hard time trying to enter the site, trying to remember what password I used for that specific site. That's why I've decided to change most of my passwords to only one.

For unnecessary purpose I keep all the password same. But for email and business purpose will be better if we using different password. Don't use public computer for your sensitive information, because may be the keylogger or trojang installed on that computer.

Yes,i use one password for all the sites and emails,by the way i have 4 emails,haha... Maybe it's very dangerous on line to do like that, cause if the password be stolen,so much important information will lose, even can include the money. But in this way,we should remember ,the only password we use should be long and complex, then will be safe. Till now, there's nothing wrong with my password, and i think it's also easy for me to memorize. :)

I tend to use the same details for every site that I join, ie. Username and Password. It makes life so much more easier! I am an extremely forgetful person. I understand what you all are saying, that it's dangerous to do this. I'll change up my passwords!
