how long do you shower? / myLot

i like taking long showers. my family hates it coz it doesn't help with my punctuality problem. i mean, it's only logical to take your time in the shower. after all, how are you going to scrub off all of that dust and dirt? they are ever present even if your skin looks squeaky clean. it never ceases to amaze me when people get out of the shower faster than you can say shower. how in the world do you do that? do you even shampoo your hair? i have to say it's the hair that used up most of my shower time. before, i used to have really long hair. thank God i've cut it to a reasonable length. i love using body scrub too. any brand. it really makes your skin smooth after shower. how bout you? care to share your shower habits?

to me the problem is that, i usually fall asleep in the bathtub. that is the main reason why i stay in the bathroom that long. one time i over slept (in the tub, not in my bed) then i suddenly hear someone knocking at the door. i looked at the time and realized that i've in there for an hour. wrinkling skin and all, i immediately rinse (forgo the shampooing) and hurriedly dress myself.

you are a big sleeper. i can't imagine myself sleeping soaked in water. maybe, i can doze off for a few seconds. that's all.

For me, it all depends. If i'm in a rush, then about 15 mins, not even. But if i'm not in a rush and I need to do my hair too, then it could take me as long as an hour (sometimes longer), because i have long hair, and i need to wash it, condition it, and because of all the chemicals i've put in it over the years, onc ea week (sometimes more) I need to put a special treatment in my hair, to keep it soft.

eversince giving birth, i have learned to rush my shower time and cut it short when necessary. baby needs can be so demanding. i seldom apply clarifying shamppo though this is very important to our hair to avoid chemical build ups.

For me the hotter the water the better. I too love to take really long showers. Half the time I end up just standing there savoring the hot water. My big thing to do while I shower is to put foot scrub on my pumice stone and scrub the hell out of my heels since they get so disgusting in the summertime when I wear flip flops every day.

I take long in the shower because I scrub, scrub, scrub and wash my looong hair. Haha. My roommates don't understand why I take longer than them.
