I just wanna know if what can you say about the remake of My Girl in Philippine version. As we all know, the original version of this show is Korean. So, what can you say about the casts here? Do you think it fits to their role?

I already watch the korean version of My Girl, and I so love this koreanovela. as in! and I fell in love with jasmine's partner.. Lee dong woo!.. anyway, with regards to the Philippine version of this koreanovela, I haven't watch it, and never want to.. you know what, why don't they make their own TV shows? have you notice? that all the TV stations were actually buying lots of TV shows from the other country? Filipino's are very creative, we all know that, but why the heck that all the TV shows now a days came from the other country?!?!..

Haha, you don't want to??! Same here I have a copy of korean version of My Girl, and the story is really interested and I love the casts. Lee Jun Ki, Lee Da Hae and sis... if you don't mind, it's Lee Dong WOOK! hehehe.. So there.. I don't really like the philippine version since Kim Chiu is the one who portrays as Lee Da Hae. And she acts to exaggerated for me..hehe anyways, I still like the original. Original is the best, isn't it! Thanks for your response sis!

well, I stand to be corrected. hell yeah.. some people say that kim chui was over exaggerating her acting. and the way she dresses,.. I mean, sorry to all the kim chui fan, but we are here in the Philippines, I know that she needs to portray jasmine, but I think the staff of this telenovela should dress kim chui which is appropriate on our country. I mean, be simple, with a Filipino style. they made a Filipino version of it, so I think all must be in a Filipino style.am I right? anyway, I like more the original version of it. and oopppss.. this is just my opinion, and not just for the Philippines Version of my girl, but for the others as well.

Most of the Korean shows I was able to watch were all on DVD. They were all dubbed in English. My Korean friends are the ones lending me these DVDs. I got the chance to see the original version of My Girl on DVD. I find it cute and amusing. I do not really watch much of our local shows as I find them so corny and overrated. When I get to watch some game shows or news on local channels, I get to see what shows they have in those channels. I have never watched our version of My Girl but saw some teasers of the show during commercial breaks and I don't think I would waste my time watching such program. It doesn't appeal to me that much. Kim Chiu and Gerard Anderson are not really good actors. They just appeal to the masses and that probably is the reason why they are "marketable" at the moment.

I agree with you dolce... I don't like our version too. And even Kim & Geralds acting especially Nina Jose haha, they are popular because of their looks and charisma and not because they we're real good artists...

I've seen my girl korean version and got hook into it! Its very amusing, with regards to the philippine version I think the characters specially kim chiu and her best friend are over acting. Their voices hurts my eardrum. i get irritated watching it.

The pinoy version of My Girl...is quite okay for me. Of course no one can copy the original. But Kim Chiu is doing well...trying her best...Anyways...we have different opinions...

I like the Filipino my girl .. the only person i don't like in it is Nicole ... because she can't act and she's too fat . hahahah and her voice is annoying too ~ but other than that i like all the cast .. Kim Chiu suits her role .. and i kinda like it better than the Korean version. lol

Oh man... I LOVE the korean version of the drama. I tried watching the first episode of the filipino version, and Kim Chui was just so annoying. I didn't like the way she acted. :X

lol. :D I haven't watched the Korean version that's why I'm settling for the Philippine version. :) And here are some of my observations: 1. I don't like Nina's acting. She needs a gazillion more workshops. :P 2. So far, I think its the best project that the "Kim-erald" tandem had. Just an opinion. Lol. Cause they had "Sana Maulit Muli" and a couple of movies which I really think are... well I don't know what's the right term. Hehe. :P 3. Its becoming a reunion of PBB teens. Boo. x( That's the part that I don't like. Graah. xD Lol.

I think kim chu really fits her character here. She's so bubbly, I never found her so cute before. I liked this remake, although I realy didn't get tot watch the original version. but it's not an exception that our local tv don't have any new ideas to show us. They're always just remaking stuff. I guess sooner or later we'd get our own version of the F4. haha...

Hmmm, i think it's okay. But the downside (for me) is it is so Korean! Their styles, hairdo's, etc. I would like to see a real Filipino My Girl. I believe that they tried to make it 'Filipino' but it is not enough for me. But Kim is impressive. Gerard's acting is very effective. He is good in being serious.
