Huggies or Pampers brand for your baby??

When I was pregnant I use to receive all these coupons and samples from all these different baby companies. I was always so confused which brand to use. There are so many companies that make all these different items for your baby. So what do you do? Ask around to hear what your friend is using and use the same. If you were to try out each brand it wouldn't take you 1 day to figure out if you like it or not (well maybe with diapers it would). I stand in the store sometimes and ask my husband which one do we buy. It makes me crazy sometimes. Some people would say its all the same and some would say there is a difference. Well I can tell you with diapers I have learned my lesson well. I wanted to experiment one time so I bought the Walmart brand diapers that they carry called Parents choice. BIG MISTAKE on my part. You know how they they you pay for what you get , well this was the case. I put one diaper on my baby and it was leaking all over the place, not to mention they are not as soft as huggies or pampers brand. I saw alot of people buying them so I figured they can't be bad. Since sometimes they say all you really pay for is the name and nothing else. Well with diapers you pay for the name and much more. Now I am experimenting between Huggies and Pampers brand, which one do you prefer for you baby and why?

I prefer Luvs. They are just as good and a lot cheaper. There are also some store brands that I have used that are good. I never tried the Walmart ones, but grocery store brands, Target and some others were fine. I buy Luvs, though, because I buy them in bulk and they are cheaper than even the generic ones. I didn't like Huggies at all, and Pampers were fine, but too expensive. There is no harm in trying different brands until you find ones you like at a good price. There is also no harm in switching brands all the time when you have coupons to save money. As the baby gets older it's not as big a deal, because they don't wet as often.

Well I find Huggies and Pampers to be at the same price unless there is a sale of some sort. I also heard that Luvs is the same company as Huggies but are cheaper. So far I think I like pampers brand because they are softest. However, then they have Pampers baby dry, Curisers etc, I feel like these companies are doing this to dive a parent crazy with all these choieces. Same thing goes for all these bottle brands.

I also tried a lot of brands for my baby's diaper use... and these are the ones that i really like... Huggies, Prokids, Drypers, and EQ... they are great and the price range from expensive to affordable... right now... since my baby is already two... i only use EQ diapers... since that is cheapest brand among the four i mentioned and it also works great... i tried pampers once... but that did not go well with me and my baby...

I always used Huggies. I liked them the best. My kids were allergic to Pampers and I tried Luvs once and they leaked through so in the trash those went and I stuck with Huggies ever since. Thankfully my kids are out of diapers now though.

I had a baby shower thrown for me when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter. I recieved all huggies. Huggies Supream and then the reagular ones. I prefer Huggies Supream. I did however use Parents Choice for a little while with my youngest daughter. I used them for maybe 2 months only because it was what I could afford. That brand didnt last that long. I do not like Luvs they seem to irritate my girls when they were little and pampers didnt hold enough pee for my children. So, my choice has and always be Huggies!

Well where I live there are lots of Costco stores - similiar to Sams clubs. I buy all my diapers here - the Kirkland brand (which is actually made by Pampers). I've not had a problem yet and I'm on my third child!

with my 4 year old i used nothing but pampers because when i first tried huggies on him he broke out. but with my new baby, i have used parent's choice, huggies and luvs, only because they were gifts from other people and now a days where i live you can only make even exchanges if you dont have a receipt.but they are all working fine so far.

LUVS! I love them love them love them. I know, that's pretty silly to actually love a diaper, but they are great. They are the cheapest of the "name" brands and I think that they hold up better than the more expensive ones. Geez. Now I sound like the darn commercial! haha.
