Monitoring MyLot Earnings

I don't think all the people here in mylot came here to earn. But I am pretty sure that majority of us, are here for the extra income beside friendship. And definitely, friends are the ones who helps us earn more. Without friends, our earnings with not get up... In my second month here, I was already enjoying mylot. I thought I was just enjoying what mylot is all about, posting comments, responding to friends' discussions, etc... But I came to the point of watching my earnings grow, and aiming the payout... So I decided to keep a track of my participation here... I maintain an excel file which I named, monitoring.xls... Every night, before I log-in to mylot, I open my xls file and record the date, number of starting post, and my earnings. I usually stop mylotting when the earnings are updated. So I go to my xls file again and record the number of ending post, and my earnings... In that way I can monitor my posts and my earnings. I can see when I received additional earnings or if I had a deduction... In your case, do you monitor your earnings? What are you procedure or you just don't bother, you just wait for the payout?

Wow you're so organized. It's admirable actually that you take this online earning to the next level. I just check the earnings portion of myLot for my daily earnings. And I'm proud to say that I've only gotten zeroes on a few days. I do check my myLot earnings every day though just so that I am encouraged to post some more.

I do monitor my earnings here. But not what like you are doing. I don't have a specific time for mylot. I can mylot the whole day. I just check my posts after I respond to discussions then go again to another discussions. With regards to my earnings for the day, I just look at how I've done for the day when the earnings are updated. Then I go on with my stuffs again. What I really do is monitor how my referrals are doing. But, you gave me an idea. Maybe I should do that to, so I'll know how many posts I can do for the day and how much I've earned for the day.

Hi neildc. I am not here on a regular basis, so I haven't been monitoring my earnings and posts here. I just got active a week ago and so I just post and respond to discussions. Earnings will come later, I have a long way to go to reach payout. Have a great day.

Great ! You are so methodical . I can never think of such a way of monitoring my Earnings , Postings etc . However;do not you find it over-burdening at times to track all your earnings , Postings etc . Regards Sweety_81

Yes I think mylot is a good platform for the people of different country to share their thoughts.Without sharing the thoughts we cannot know each other and gaining money with this is a more benfecial one.Hence I think that mylot gives a little money but the thing which is worth is the exchange of the thoughts.

I agree, I am also here for both the friends, conversation and the extra money, and for me, really the money since I don't have a personal income. I definitely tend to watch my earnings. The only thing I did was start a text document and record how many posts I made for the day, what my rating was before I started posting, and when the earnings are updated I record those. The first several days I didn't do this, but I like having an idea of how much I am actually posting. Although, I have found that what I've heard is true, number of posts doesn't mean more money necessarily, because I made quite a bit more yesterday than the day before and I posted 3 less responses. Although, I do know that active discussions help, and possible getting best responses help (although I don't *know* that). That does sound neat that you made an Excel document to track your posts and all. I have something like it, but I learned on excel, so I'm not sure I would even want to bother with the program, since I'm just as happy with knowing number of posts, and daily earning. I do understand what you are saying though, sometimes I get overly obsessed with the earning part, but I think that is only natural with the economy the way it is, we all could use extra money, whether that is 10$ a month or $30, etc.. Anything extra helps.

Wow! You are very organized. It seems that you are really that serious about your activities here at myLot. That's great! I do monitor my earnings at least to see and check if I have had any deductions. Of course, I also check my earnings at times when the earnings are updated. Well, just to check if I earned anything for the day.

I dont really monitor my earnings. though the lsst few days ive been trying to get in 30 posts a day and starting a few discussions. and then watch how my earnings go.. to see wether im satisfied making that much or mabey i should do more for more.... ive found im quite satisfied with just doing the 30.... Yes basicly i just post post post answer answer answer and create then wait for the payout:)...

before what you did now was i did also. i record the number of post i made before the end of the day together with my earnings. when i found out that at the later day dropped to almost $1, i never did it again. Now after my school activities probably around 9:30pm-10:pm, i go directly to my computer and log-in to this site, my purpose is to checked my earnings. I am excited everyday to checked my earnings after school. By doing this routine, i missed this site if i am out for how many days maybe due to some vacation or business trip. i am aiming that my earnings here will be my passes to purchase my laptop soon. My Girl friend sometimes help me to do mylotting so that we both share our ideas to any members here with our different point of views specially in different interest. One of this days, my girl friend will have her own account and continue sharing her ideas to her future friends here.

I do pretty much the same as you do. I also have an excel file that I open each morning and indicate the points I started the day with, then the points I ended the day with, and the next column has the sum function with will show the total posts for that day. The next column has a spot for my total earnings from the day prior, the total earnings listed today, with the final column having a sum function that shows the difference with the total for that day only. I tend to be pretty quirky about things like this and like to see the numbers grow.

I kept tabs on it for only one day awhile ago because I wanted to see if I was losing posts on a daily basis or if my one day was exceptional. Normally, I come here to see what interesting topics I can find. Learning is a hobby of mine, and anything new that I come across, if it is interesting to me, I will participate in. I usually end up doing a search for whatever it is, just to be sure of my facts. I also like to keep tabs on the friends I've made here... what they're up to, what their plans are, etc. MyLot really is about the friendships, sharing and caring way more than the money. If I wanted to make money on the internet, I'd surely go back to doing what I did before... legal transcription. That paid WAY more than myLot! I was making around $500.00 a week with the transcription. MyLot is my "internet cafe" where I come to meet my friends. I adore this place!

So that is interesting that you went that far to monitor your earnings. I would think at this point you should have come to a conclusion on how mylot earns you money. Is it how much you write to a response or is it just your participation? Maybe how many discussions you put up? What do you think earns you the most ?

I just remember how many posts I have when I log off and what my earnings were then if it decreases the next day I know. It seems like you go through alot of work to keep track of your earnigs on here.

i agree with you a lot on the words:if without friends, our earning will not get up.so i think we should get on well with our friends, even though it don't have earning,i will also commention here because of so many good friends on mylot. i think after several weeks,i will get my first money from mylot.
