I have an uncle who tries to help wild animals who go astray. He has talked to snakes that
get into the road, telling them to stay away from the road so they won't get run over. He sets turtles
out of the road so they won't get hit. One day he picked up a snapping turtle to put it out of
the road and he had welts all over his hands where the turtle snapped him. I think his shenaigans
are hilarious, but one of his life missions is to help defenseless wild animals.

No, I don't often talk to wild animals. When I do, it is mostly to say, "You look good enough to eat!".
Don't tell your uncle, but it is one of my life's missions to ingest defenseless wild animals.
