Video Games:What are you playing now?

I recently got to thinking, and I thought I would pose a question to all mylotters who play video games,What video game are you playing right now? What is the game you are playing about? Why are you playing that specific game? How long have you been playing that game? How far are you through the game? How long do you think it will be before you beat the game?Have you beaten the game before? Are you playing more than one game right now? What game are you going to play next? What kind of games do you like to play? Why do you like to play that type of game? What system do you prefer to play games on?Why do you prefer to play them on that system?Right now I am in the middle of Hitman:Blood Money,It is about a hitman named agent 47 who goes through and kills contracts for money for the agency he works for,and I decided to play it for two reasons, one because my fiance likes watching me play Hitman:Blood Money, and two because I can go through and slaughter people to make me feel better and relieve stress,I have been playing it for like three days now, and I am currently on the fourth mission called A New Life, where you have to killed a mobster, get the microfilm and escape the suburbs,I do not know how long it will take me to beat the game, because I can barely get through one mission before my X-box messes up,and usually I have to play through a mission at least three or four times, just to simply beat it because of all the times my X-box messes up, and I have already beaten the game once, except last time I went through and did everything stealthy and caused accidents, which do not count as kills, and I am only playing Hitman:Blood Money at the moment, even though I was in the middle of Knights Of The Old Republic:Sith Lords and most likely I will go back and finish that game when I beat Hitman:Blood Money again, I prefer war games, stealth games, and first person shooter games, and I like those types of games because I get to kill people, which is always fun, especially when the people you are killing are terrorists or some other type of bad guy who wants to take over the world ,right now I prefer to play games on my X-box because it is a lot of fun when it works right, even though me and my fiance are saving to get an X-box 360 and a Nintendo Wii and we can not wait because both of those look like they will be lots and lots of fun,and will keep us busy for hours on end,I would greatly appreciate gamer who takes the time to respond to my discussion, and I would also appreciate anyone who takes the discussion seriously, because I would love to get feedback from other mylot gamers, and it might give me some ideas of other games to play.

Right now, I'm re-playing Diablo II. One of my all-time favorites. Almost all hardcore gamers know this game. A very good RPG from blizzard where you get to play a class/race and battle through dungeons and monsters. Been playing it for 3 days now (before I played it for weeks). Hopefully by next week I'm done. I have finished the game a couple of times using different classes though. Now I'm trying to finish it as a sorceress. I always prefer to play on my PS2 for consistency in speed of gameplay and graphics. My next system in line is the PC. I like the option to have better controls and the graphics are much crisp. The main problem though is that game technology does seem to improve quickly and I have a hard time catching up with the system specs. However, I like Final Fantasy as well on the Playstation and so far, the series has taken most of my time. I usually start with Final Fantasy 7 and finish it until 12. (except for 11).

Thanks for the br! Well, I'd love to get my hands on Diablo 3 if there is a beta anywhere. Can't wait to try it out. Sorceress is hard. Get's knocked out easily.

Yeah I used to play Diablo II on the computer a while back, but then I lent the installation CD's to one of my friends and I never got them back, and we had to have the computer restored because of virus's so now to play it I will have to buy another copy of the game,,and that is cool that you have been playing it for three days, and and I hope you get through with it by next week like you hope, that is cool that you are trying to beat is as a Sorceress, that your favorite character class?Mine is either the Necromancer,or the Druid because they are the best if you ask me,and yeah I have heard a lot of good things about the Playstation 2, especially from brother because he loves his Playstation 2 and he is always playing it on his days off from work, and Yeah I agree when it comes to the PC it is hard to keep up with the system specs and the controls are more difficult if you ask me,and my brother loves the Final Fantasy series, and he almost has everyone (except eleven, because he does not have a computer at his house)ranging from the ones on the original Playstation to the ones on the Nintendo DS,and he especially seems to love playing Final Fantasy 7,Thanks for responding, have a great day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

Super Paper Mario-really fun Wii game. I'd like to try and beat this game before I buy too many Wii games. T.V. Show King-good gameshow style Wiiware game. Animal Crossing: Wild World: Extremely addicting game for DS. Best to allow plenty of time for this game. My French Coach-If there's any language a person should know other than English, it's French. Pokemon Silver-I play this a couple times a week. I've been trying to beat it for a couple of years. I was playing some other of my VC games on my Wii: Ice Climbers, Mach Rider, Light Crusader, City Connection and another Wiiware game, Lost Winds. Light Crusader and Lost Winds are probably the best of those.

Well as you know I am playing Zelda : Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64. The gist of the game is to save hyrule from Gandorof, a man who is after the Royal Family's secret. I am playing the game because well i've always like the other zelda games on the various other Nintendo systems. I have been playing it for a few days now. I am pretty much not even half way through the game. I'm not sure how long it will take as it all depends on how long I play the game. I have not beaten this particular Zelda game but I have beaten it on the Super Nintendo. I am not playing more the one game right now, but as you know I started playing Hitman: Blood money on your Xbox. I am not sure what game I am going to play next as it depends on when we get our respective systems. I am more of a fan of Simulation games but also enjoy playing Zelda and Castlevania as well as metroid. I really enjoy playing these games as I feel more in control of the character then in other games where it's dominated by cut scenes. I do not have a preference of the system so much as I do on the game. I like the wii as it seems to be very fun to play with.

Yeah I know you are playing Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64,and I know that the goal of the game is to save Hyrule from the evil Gandorf, and he is trying to get the Triforce which would allow him to rule over the entire world, and yeah I know you are not very far through the game,as you just now opened the Temple of Time, and I know you do not play a lot,so I agree there is no telling how long it will take you to beat it,and that is cool you have beaten Zelda on the Super Nintendo, and yeah I know you started playing Hitman:Blood Money on the X-box,and yeah I know what you mean,it all depends on when we get the game systems we want, and that is cool that you like games like Zelda ,Castlevania, and metroid, and I am glad you enjoy those types of games, and that is cool that you do not have a preference on the system, and that instead it all depends on the game, and yeah I agree the Nintendo Wii does seem like a lot of fun to play, thanks for responding,I love you,and Happy Posting.

The video games that i am playing right now are Nba live 08 on xbox live. It's pretty fun because the opponent has way more competition when it's player rather than a CPU.

That is cool that the game you are playing NBA live 08 on X-box live, and that I agree it is always a lot more fun when you are playing against a player than a CPU, especially since a lot of the time the CPU will try to cheat which is not fair if you ask me,thanks for responding, have a great day, good luck on your life, and Happy Posting.

The only thing I'm really playing at the moment is Nethack, a single player role playing game type thing, where you have to descend into a dungeon, find the Amulet of Yendor, and then get out again. I've been playing it for... six, seven years? Already completed it; completed it more times than I can remember, certainly. The highscore table on my Palmtop computer won't even put you in the top ten unless you complete, the online server I'm playing on have eight victories under my account, and I must have completed it a good half-dozen times or more on other machines. You'd think I'd get bored, but being as the dungeon is randomly generated every game, there's always something new. There's a review of it at http://tinyurl.com/5q6waj if you're interested. Other than that, I don't play an awful lot, as the rubber band that power the processor on this PC wouldn't really cope with it. When I get around to upgrading to something built this century, no doubt I'll get back into playing World of Warcraft again.

At the moment I'm being a typical girly and playing The Simpsons Game on the PS3. Not that I've got that many games to play yet on it. I just like daft games, in fact the dafter the better and I'm very much a Playstation kinda girl, although I wouldn't say no to a Xbox or preferably a Wii. Next game I'm going to play will be Overlord, if I ever get it as the shops have sold out. I think mainly because they didn't think it would be popular.

hi my name is brian f and i also love to play video games either online or on a console in my living room.I am mostly interested in role playing and first person strategy games, these i find to be the most challenging. I need to have a challanging game to keep my attention because i usually complete most games very quickly and then im bored with them because after i beet a game and see the ending i do not find it interesting any more so i always take them to game stop and trade themn in on other games but i hate going therebecause they never give you enugh credit i mean you can take 5 games in and only come out with one or two and most of the time you have to pay the difference just to get the second one but any wa i gotten off the beaten path some of the games that i have beeten include socom navy seals I,II,III and combined asault, all existing need for speed version, all of the siphon filter games god of war one and two,and many more i cannot remember but the god of war games were my favorite but to be completely honest i found the first on to be better by way of dificult and the second one to be better by way of graphics but you wanna know a secret? it took me a month to be god of war but it only took me four days to beet god of war two

It depends on which console you mean, because I play several things depending on what my mood is for that given day. Right now though, I'm favoring Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 for the PS2. It's a wonderful game that's a combination of a Japanese dating sim and an RPG; while going to school and having dates with various characters, you also have to save the world. I'm greatly enjoying it. On the other hand, I'm also playing through Warriors Orochi for the PSP (it's also available on the PS2). The game is, essentially, one big pile of fanservice for those of us who are Koei/Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors fanatics. It's quite fun, and a great stress reliever.

That is cool and it sounds like a pretty interesting game and I will suggest it to my brother because he likes RPG games especially ones for the Playstation 2, and Warriors Orochi also sounds interesting, and it does sound like a good stress reliever and since they have it on the Playstation 2 I will suggest that one to my brother as well, thanks for responding, have a great day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

My favorite game is Call of Duty 4 for the Xbox 360. First game I ever beat from beginning to end. I'm not the type of girl who enjoys video games much, but I'm hooked on that one. plus I love the online multiplayer. I can be on there for hours! When they had double XP weekend a while back my husband and I took turns playing for the entire weekend with very little sleep between the days :) I also like Condemned (although it kind of scares me lol) and Beautiful Katamari! I thought Beautiful Katamari was going to be some stupid kids game, but it is so addicting. A great game to sit and play with friends to see who can get the biggest Katamari. Definitely strange though :) Hmm. Those are pretty much my games of choice.

I have never been into the Call of Duty series even though they seem like pretty cool games, and that is cool that Call of Duty 4 is the first game that you ever beat from beginning to end,and that is cool that you are not the type of girl who enjoys video games much, but at least you found one that hooked you lol,and that is cool that you like online multiplayer, because multiplayer helps make games a lot more fun,and yeah Beautiful Katamari does sound like it would be a weak game, but I am glad you enjoyed it,thanks for responding, have a great day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

Right now, I'm playing several. Some just take time not playing, and some just don't have an ending. They are: 1) Nostale (PC) - Free online MMORPG. I just don't see the need to pay 20+ a month to play an MMORPG when there are good free ones. 2) Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground (PSP) - It's a love it or hate it game. I'm quite addictide to the game, and I can't say why, as it's rather repativie. Take the the battle system of Diablo, throw in a dungeon building element, and that's more or less the game. 3) Animal Crossing WW (DS) - Just fun. I'll pick it up and play it for a while then quit and play something else before going back. 4) Pokemon Dungeon Darkness (DS) - Just a fun game. Can't say why exactly, but I love it.

That is cool that you are currently playing many games at once,I have never heard of Nostale for the PC,but you do have a point while spend money on something when the free ones are just as good, and Dungeon Maker sounds pretty interesting if it has the battle system of Diablo, and I might try that game someday,I have heard good things about Animal Crossing WW for the DS,and Pokemon games can be a lot of fun,if you like pokemon or stuff like that, thanks for responding, have a great day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.
