As you all know I have been trying to resolve all my unresolved discussion and with that answering any and all responses that I haven't answered when I wrote the discussion and you guys have responded. I'm sorry that it has taken my this long to resolve these discussion. Now the question I have for you is how long does it take you to resolve your discussions and when you are resolving them if you have unanswered responses do you answer them?

This would apply for me when i comment to a discussion. Most of the discussions that I have started didn't get that many responses so I spend most of my time commenting instead. I try to get back to them all of them if I can. For the few times that I have started a discussions I have gotten back to them all.

How long does it take you to resolve your discussion and pick your best responses? I'm going to be working on that for about forever as I see it. LOL!! I have spent 2 days so far working on it.

I have not started that many discussions, more comments that discussions. So I would have to say the best one what you feel.

Basically, until I decide I've gotten enough reasonable responses. This thing can continue forever, as you might see, so I draw the line when I think its had enough time. Check the responses and if you think all has been said and done, bring it to a conclusion. I don't think there is any other way.

oh man, i got me a whole long list of discussions that i need to go and give best answers too. it's not always easy because you people are so good when it comes to mylot you never really know who to give it too. when it is down to the wire and i want to go and get it over with. i pick the best two responses, and then flip a coin.

Oh now you have gone and done it! I haven't done it for months and it takes me hours when I do and yes I do answer any unanswered responses when I do this - now i am going to be under pressure to get caught up with the notifications i have so I can devote a few hours to catching up on my unresolved discussions! lol xxxx

Trust me you don't want to do that. Those 13 pages are killing me. I wish they could resolve themselves sometimes.

Forever is the short answer. I decided to leave myLot a couple of months ago and got completely up to date. However, since returning I have let things slide somewhat. I have something like seven pages of unresolved discussions awaiting my perusal. I do ocasionally look for ones with only a few responses and knock those off. But I have one with over 100 and I am dreading doing that one.

It has taken me almost two years! lol. I made a decision to catch up on ALL my unresolved discussions and so far it has taken me about two weeks doing around 20 a day! Better late than never right? I will be making a stronger effort to stay on top of it from this point forward though!

To be honest, yes it HAS been a task. But I am at least now on top of it! Better late than never I guess too! I will definitely be trying to keep it in check from this point forward.

I don't do so bad on answering the responses to my discussions. I actually have those caught up. But as for the unresolved discussions? I'm not even CLOSE to getting those caught up. I sometimes wonder if I will ever get those done. No need for apologies hon....you're not alone in this for sure. Hugs!

Thanks Bella For the reminder that I need to do just that. As far as unanswered responses, usually I don't have too many of those, I for some reason unkonwn to me yet, like to have the last word. I think becasue it makes it easier for me to see if I have had anyother comments to my discussion. (well that sounds good at least so lets go with it lol) I just checked and I have 5 pages worth. With everything else going on it will take me FOREVER!!!!!!!! Some of them will be easy with either 1 or 0 comments on them. Since I don't tend to get a lot of responses I figure just a couple of hours or so. I will let you know when I get done! I will still go back through discussions I have resolved if I have other comments simply becasue I enjoy talking to people too much lol.

Well the 5 pages took me about 3 hours. It's kinda hard sometimes to decide! and I am glad I am not the only one who does that wants to be the last on their discussion lol. I thought I was just neurotic!

To be honest bella, and I might be wrong in feeling this way but I say to each his own thing but for me, I dont' choose the best response very often because, to me, it's like saying this person is better than the other or I like this person better and so on. Kind of like two kids picking out their teammates and it just doesn't sit well with me so I leave them be for I love everyone and respect everyone's opinion and responses. Very rarely do I pick the best response and if and when I do, it's a pretty DARN good one!! lol

Flippin eck it takes me ages, trouble is I have that much going on that I forget about them. My main concern of a day is to clear out my email box and answer to all discussions that I can and this takes me forever somedays. By which time I have forgotten to resolve yet again. But I will get there I know I will. Yes I do sometimes answer unanswered responses too while I am choosing the best one.

I try to stay on top of my discussions.. however.. if it gets an overwhelming number of responses.. sometimes I will take a weekend to answer those. As much as I would like to "resolve" my discussions.. some of them just don't warrant a best response.

If someone commented on something I responded to long ago, I would never know. So if someone is worried about responding to me I'd say, don't bother. I think if I have a real question for a friend, I'd send them a private message. Othewise, I just respond figuring that a question will never be answered. :-) Me? Well, it's hard to say. I read when I first arrived here that most folks don't don't like to be friends with anyone with less than 500 posts and don't respond to discussions from newbies either. I've only started a few discussions and got few responses. They're not hard to manage.

Things have changed so much since I have been here I don't think it's that we don't want to respond to someone who has less than 500 post it's that we look for the quality of the post and if it interests us. Yeah we have been a little cautious but that is due to some of the dynamics that have happened. LOL!! Take care and have a nice one.
