There is a very big possibilaty that Aliens are true. The Samarian story says that the gods are the aliens. They came from heaven to earth on their fiery Chariots. The aliens (gods) that the samarians seen were giants with 6 fingers, and two rows of teeth. Now there was a big alien sighting somewhere around london that a large group of people seen, and they said that they looked like people but where real tall. Couldnt really see their faces. Now i believe that aliens could be true, but I will not say its a fact till its proven, as with everything else

OH my stepsons friend says that jellyfish are aliens, which would be true, because they are alien to us. We call people from a different country aliens, so their are aliens everywhere.

I think it would be arrogant to assume that we on the Earth are the only intelligent life in the Universe. But, I don't believe that other intelligent life forms have visited us. The reason I say that is distance.
The nearest star to us is Proxima Centauri at over 4 light years away. It would take some 50,000 yrs to get there if we had our fastest rockets running full blast with an inexhaustable fuel supply to get there. Now that's just the nearest star, not the nearest planet that could support life. We haven't found a planet yet that would be suitable for life as we know it.
I will not say it's impossible, just improbable in the extreme. There are after all somewhere between 200-400 Billion stars just in our Milky Way galaxy. And our galaxy is just one of billions of galaxies in our known Universe. Then if you want to get into some quantum theory, we could be just one Universe out of many that exist in other dimensions.. That one always gets my brain ticking, I love quantum physics :D

Go back and read it again, if you still can't understand what I said I'll simplify it for you.
Aggressive is when you don't read something correctly and attack someone for it.
Get a grip Emma, or at least a working knowledge of the English language. Yes that was arrogance combined with indignation at being chided for something I didn't say.

I cant stand it when people say people are arrogant if they dont believe in ailens or other life forms. Its a belief. Does that mean people who dont believe in God are arrogant? Just because someone doesnt believe doesnt mean they are arrogant.
Im not saying I dont believe. Give me the proof and evidence and I will believe. Im open minded about it all.
Just to me, arrogant means some one is rude to other people and a bit agrressive

it was probably a small plane flying by a cloud in a far distance. or a goodyear blimp at night. or some other aircraft with humans in it...humans from earth...or it could be aliens from another country...terrorists...

Why does everyone assume that aliens are little green men. So your saying in this entire universe, with all the galaxies like our own, like all the solar systems like our own that our planet is the ONLY planet in this entire universe that can sustain life?
I don't know about that, maybe them coming to visit us here on earth I'm a skeptic of but I don't rule it out. I saw one time at night something moving slowly in the sky like a satellite then zipped a few inches really fast then stopped and stayed in place for about a second then zipped across the sky in a different direction then disappeared. It didn't leave a trail like a comet or a meteor. It seemed like it had life controlling it. I think it just may have been a random thing I got to witness and if any lifeforms on it, I doubt were coming to earth to scope us out.
But as a user said earlier in this discussion that there have been many depictions of alien visitation through out the history of man. And in different societies.

i think that there is some life form out there watching us and leting us kill ourselves slowly.they must be learning a gr8 amount of things from us like not to overdo develoment and harm their own planet not to race against each other in matters of power or wealth and stuff.besides i would preffer if they attacked us and killed most of the politicians and slum of human race.

i very much believe in aliens i think the government know a lot more than there letting on, after America defeated Hitler they found an aircraft the Germans invented that was anti gravity and the American government pinched it. gravity slows everything down, for example if you went into space for ten years when you came back down you will have aged ten years but everyone else will have aged more( so not sure if earths age rate is correct or spaces age rate) any way if an aircraft was invented that was anti gravity you would be able to manipulate time and travel faster then the speed of light and manipulate gravity, if its true and they did find the anti gravity aircraft surly it would be a lot more advanced now and they could have already traveled to other worlds and swapping information, who knows some of the technology we use today may not have come from our civilization it may well have been traded information. this is all theory of coarse as governments keep all the important information to there self.

So wouldn't gravity speed up aging? If a person went into space for 10 years, everyone would be older than 10 years and the people in space were younger than the earth 10 years? Is that what you were trying to say? I got confused on that.

If the Universe is truly infinite, the only reasonable explanation would be that there is other intelligent life. As for proving this, it's just a matter of time. Look at how much we've advanced in just the past 100 years. Eventually, if they aren't intelligent enough to find us, humans will find them.
