Do you ever get great ideas for MyLot discussions, while watching TV?

Some of my best discussions for MyLot have been inspired by TV shows. You'd be surprised how many questions you get in your head when you watch television. Mostly just "What if's", but they always turn into really fun topics. The trick is to write them down before they leave. Do you ever watch TV and get great ideas for MyLot discussions?

Hello dear beauty queen. It is very nice of you to give us some ideas about getting inspiration from watching TV, which is really a very valuable idea and worth recommending to us mylotters. Well, frankly, I seldom watch TV when I work and live on campus, but I do when I have my summer and winter vacation at home in my own apartment with my family. Most part of the TV items that I love to watch are news, recreational performances and sometimes sports match that attract me. I have never thought about getting ideas from watching TV for mylot discussions. That is a good idea and I will pay more attention to it next time when I watch TV at home. Thank you so much and I can see why discussions started by my beauty queen can always attract me to respond to. lol. Good day and happy posting with a big hug as a way of Thank You.

Thank you so much for the BR and your encouragement or expectation to my future new posts about this side. I will try to watch some TV series later on when I have enough time to and will try to my best to post a similar discussion as expected. Thanks again, beauty queen.

Thanks for the big hug, my friend. It's great to have friends online, like you. I would love to read some of your future posts about your favorite shows and movies and why you choose those as your favorites. I love reading all those amazing trivia bits about my friends. Such things allow me an insight in my friend's life and heart. Be well, my friend. Have a beautiful day. Your friend BeautyQueen

Would love to hear about any movies or TV shows you saw in the past. Anything would be nice to read about. Doesn't have to be new. Many times I watch old movies and enjoy them too. Course I know that you are busy with your job so please take your time and post when you can. No hurry! Thanks. Be well. Have a beautiful day Your friend. BeautyQueen

Maybe because it's something you really love. Anytime I post something from my favorite area the entire discussion goes through the roof.

Aaha, now I know your secret. I'm constantly amazed at how fast your numbers grow. I get most of my discussions from real life. I might need to give that some thought..... I don't start many discussions, could that mean I need to get a life??

My best tip would be to post about the things that you love and care about. If you like the environment then post your concerns. If your thing happens to be dogs or crafts, then share that. That's what I do. Well, I have the cats. You know about them, cause I'm always talking about them. I love my kid, so I post lots of trivia about her. I love movies and TV, so I do those kinds of posts. And sometimes, I pick up my ideas by talking with others. You'd be surprised where you can pick up ideas. They are literally everywhere. Thanks for dropping by.

I think of topics and then if I do not write them down I forget them. I tend to get ideas when I am doing things where I am not around the computer.

Do you do the notebook thing? I get tons of great ideas while I'm cooking and watching TV or reading magazines and most times I can't get to my computer. So I jot them down. It helps jog my memory later when I get online.

Yeah. It helps us to have an idea as to what discussions will be posted here and we expect to have more responses once many of us here also watch the topic. It is one way of having a topic discussion inputs and it is really helps us. Another way is online CNN news, I have seen a lots of topics here from CNN news and we can discuss our own opinion about this.

That's a great idea! I had not thought to check online CNN. I love news, why not get ideas from it! Thanks!

Doesn't happen to me because I do not have my TV hoooked up, I spend all of my time at the coffee shop, instead of at home watching TV. It's hard to get good ideas for MyLot while watching TV, when I don't have a TV. LOL

OK! That does make sense. Sometimes I watch TV and movies online, too. I get ideas from those, as well. I rarely watch the regular TV (box) anymore. Just online TV and movies. And some regular Netflix DVDs. Love the videos. Just enough time to watch video clips without bogging down my day!

Sometimes I do. I guess it depends on what I'm watching...it can come from the news or a tv show that I watch regularly....
