yeah, my country is as bad as yours when it comes to traffic. a journey that is supposed to be 30 minutes can turn to be 3 hours because of traffic congestion. though, we are coping with it by leaving some minutes ahead of scheduled time for appointments, meeting and work.@petiksmode (2983)

Hello friend,
Here in US there is no headache of traffic.Everything is tracked correctly. Here too everyone go to office early in the morning and return back early in the night.Everybody go to office by following traffic rules correctly .If anybody violate the rules than the person who violate the rules should be fined or the licences will be stopped...........Because of it everybody should explicitly follow the rules.........
Have a nice day.............

There will always be a part of a country, a city maybe that is prone to heavy traffic. These are places where most people go to work. In our country its metro manila. in thailand you have bangkok, in the usa you have new york. All the while I thought I will not be stuck in heavy traffic anymore when I get here in Canada. Boy was I mistaken. What is good news though is that it moves unlike in Manila you come to a complete stop because there is no discipline. I hope that problem gets resolved. :)

hmm MMDA (govt dept that handles traffic) they keep on thinking rules and regulations that they think will be benificial like color and number coding etc...but one way or another there are people who think that this rules are only made to heavy the burden...
all i can say is it will start in personal discipline and the rest will follow...

I think the traffic here in out country is still existing because of the drivers that not following the rules and i just notice if there is traffic enforcer in every road crossing they just can't help to resolve the traffic problem they just add more traffic so i prefer the traffic light than traffic enforcer. Sometimes traffic also exist because of the road accidents made by careless drivers..
