I live in the state of Rhode Island. The city is Central Falls. It is a very urban city, with a mostly spanish population. We recently had a curfew of 9pm oclock put into place for the ages of 18 and under because of all the violence. I can't wait to move out of this city.
Where do you live? Is it urban, suburban, rural, way out in the boondocks?
Do you like where you live, and do you plan to live there for the rest of your life?

i live in Las Vegas, as most people know from movies and tv it's a very busy, exciting, 24 hour city.
but when you've lived here for a long time like i have, you tend to stay away from the glitzy, loud, tourist areas.
the only time we go to where all the action is, is if we have company from out of town, or if we're going to a concert or something.
other than that we pretty much stay home and watch tv, or on the weekends, hang out at a little neighborhood bar down the street.

It's really cool that you can go to where all the action is at your convenience.

I got married in Vegas and I often got headaches from the smoky casino environments during our time there. Are people still allowed to smoke in casinos?

yes but they have large non smoking areas, also all bars that serve food are now non-smoking.

I live in St. Louis, Missouri. Was born and raised here so my plan is to remain here until my time is up. It's a very large city with lots happening. Places to go but the city pretty much shuts down when the bars close at 1am or maybe it's 1:30. The casinos do stay open until 5am.

I always tell my children that we live in paradise because my city is exactly that. There are plenty of beaches to go to and these don't cost an arm an a leg to enjoy. The weather is especially great because all we get is rain, never storms or typhoons. There is access to other places by land, sea and air. What more could I ask?

I live in a small fishing village on the south Texas coast. Its a cute little town right on shore. My home is approximately 7 blocks from the shoreline. I love to drive along the coast road and even walk along the pier and watch the fishing boats out in the bay. I've only lived here about 3 years now but really do enjoy it. I doubt I will live here the rest of my life however since most of my family is in the midwest. I figure when I'm older and need family more I'll probably move back north. But for now, I'm here and I'm enjoying it. Winters here are beautiful with temps averaging around 75 during the day. Its fun to look for shells while wading the surf or feed the gulls and watch the sailboats too.

Hello latoyahall,
I live in the U.K. and moved from Lonon to the country, it is lovely here, there are crime here but nothing to shout about, its peaceful and neighbours are nice, but when I live in London it was awful, crime was going up fast. i have been here over twenty years now, london has quite a lot of crime and all over other towns and cities in England, so think this country should have curfew for under eithteens. Yes I would live here for the rest of my life.

I live in the state of California. The city near me is Sacramento which is urban, I believe. My family and I live in a rural area though. I can't even say what kind of population is in the actual area I'm in, but in Sacramento it is mostly white people as shown by the 2006 Census which you can see at this link: http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/06/06067.html.
I'm pretty sure the curfew for minors (those under the age of 18) is 10 o'clock.
Yes, I like where I live other than the air quality. It has been unusually poor from all the fires here in the state. Other than that if I could live in my home for the rest of my life, I would. Unfortunately I rent, so I don't see that happening.

I live in New Jersey. The areas I live in and surrounding me live is culturally diverse. There's a melting pot of white folks, black, hispanics, asians, indians from India, etc.
I love it here because it's close to NYC and Philly. My only complaints is that we often get rude customer service and the living expenses here are high. For example, a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment in NJ is already over $1000.
Apartments are high in demand and it's hard to look for affordable apartments.
