Hi mamakat0....I'm sorry to hear that you were having these seizures. Do they know what caused it or triggered it off. I sure have missed seeing you around here and did wonder what happen to you. so you're now taking anti-siezure meds as well? One of my friends has to take that as well. She had a very bad horse riding accident years and years ago and was in a coma for a very long time...when she finally awoke from it, somehow the riding accident would later on create eptileptic type seizures and has been on that medication ever since Take care of yourself...and do hope you can be here more often as you have been missed

Hi mamakat0, I'm so very sorry to hear that you're going through all of this. I do hope that you're able to be online a bit more, as I've often wondered how you're doing. Please take the best care of yourself possible, and I do hope the new meds work for you. I too have a good friend who suffered a seizure a couple of years ago, and she's also on a lot of different meds, and has to be very careful. It's great to see you here again.

Hi mamakat0 It is great to see you here as I was wondering how you were doing and concerned that I had not seen you on here for a while! I am sorry that you had a stroke and now seizures...How Scary!! But I am glad that you are O.K and back here with us again! I do hope that you are given a big supply of meds each time you pick them up for that amount of money to last you a while! My friend I am sooooo sorry to hear about your seizures. My husband just went through what you are going through. He had massive stroke four years ago and now seizures. He had one one day and then three the next day. He has been on the medication for almost two months and is doing fine. It took him a few weeks to get over the effects of the medication. He is driving again and doing fine. He will going back to work on Tuesday next week. I am so glad to have him out from under foot. He had a electroencephalogram which showed no seizure activity. Which means he does not have seizure disorder. The doctor thinks it may be just a few seizures and hopefully never happen again. He will stop the meds soon and see if he has seizures. If he has anymore seizures he will then be on the meds the rest of his life. I hope this is the case for you. I hope you now has only the three seizures and then can go off the meds soon and be fine.
