Do you have an ex that you get along with

better now than when you were together? My daughters father and I have a fairly nice relationship now. When we were first not together anymore we could not stand to even talk to each other. Now we get along pretty well. I don't think I have actually argued with him about anything in about 8 or 9 months. Do you have an ex that you get along with still?

No every time I get near my ex I want to box his ears. I dont see him as often as i used to. He thinks he is always right, plus he would rather buy video games then anything for our 8 year old daughter. So No I dont get along with him.

Your ex sounds like my 8 year old sons father. I would like to box that jerks ears.

yes..shes my friend,we text a lot when nothing else to do..we share our problems and experiences in a day..but i do have a girlfriend and she knows about it.. i always tell her when my ex and i text and tell stories to each other because i dont want my gf to think something mutual is happening between the two of me,im single and that makes it differentn for the two of us....

I'm guessing that the pressures are different with an ex. You don't have to see them daily. And even if you do, it's only for a limited time. You don't have to cook for or clean up after an ex, versus spouse. I guess this is why some people end up getting back with their ex, cause they get along so well after the break-up! Then they find out that the person is not changed and not so nice to be around for longer periods of time! LOL! Happy to hear that things are working out for you!
