The Good and the Bad

A large city of 500,000 - This is a post card of Mazatlan Mexico on the Northern Pacific Coast. Just wanted to see if I was able to post a photo and how it will look. Also for any who are interested in seeing a photo of Mexico... if this one has the light house they say its the second Highest in the world.

There are many good things in each community. There are some bad things in each communtiy. If you Had a large oiece of land and an unlimited bank account and friends enough to fill a communtiy. What good things would you want and create? What bad things would not you not create and aprove? For example most people like parks and most dislike toxic factories. Please list the first things that come to mind no matter how you think they may sound to others. Thanks. :)

The first thing I would create would be a central village/community hall where people could congrgate and share activities together. I would make sure that there would be the parks with the ponds full of ducks and stocked with plenty of fish. It would be a working community with an old forge, a working mill, a forge with horses and carts instead of cars. They would be left outside of the community boundaries. There would be vineyards for growing grapes to eat and for winemakng, sheep for wool, people would be encouraged to live off the land and only essential farm equipment would be allowed. There would be no jail but anyone acting wrong would be made to do extra work or removed from the community. Everyone would be encouraged to help each other and the community would be encouraged to be as self suffiecent as possible. Ellie :D

Hi David, Just wrote what you asked me too but also there is a village nearby that does still have horse and carts rather than allow traffic so this is where I got the idea of the horse and cart. Ellie :D Am uploading a picture of the lake and trees in the village. Ellie :D

WOW Just amazingly buaetiful picture you have painted. All I can say Is your in charge Of design! I for sure like all the Ideas. The few that really stand out in my mind are the ponds with ducts and fish. Also the horses and horse drawn carts! If you dont mind I will pass these on. Nice plan now just to make it a reality! The way of treating people who do wrond is admirable as well. I just dont think I can inprove on this picture and why its your community any way. I have never seen sheep here in mexico. Maybe better to plant cotton. I really am blown away by what you have said, I can only imagine what you might come up with if you where doing this full time! Sincerely your Amikin :)

If I had a large chunk of land and lots of money, I would build a very large fence surrounded by cactus plants. Then I would stay there with just myself, my wife and the child :) Oh, and there would be a large sign on the fence saying "KEEP OUT!"

Thats what I like about people from up north they can handle living alone! :) This sounds like a nice Idea to not have to deal with the headaces of life. Do they have many cactus plants that grow up north? Where I am from the Montana prickly rear was the only one that survied the harsh winters oh and the yucca. thanks for the post and nice to see your are still posting! :)

Hi avid, if i happen to have a large oiece of land and money, i would have constructed a very big bungalow for the real poor and the needy people. India is a developing country with lot of masses below poverty line. I don't know why one person has unlimited wealth and on the other hand, one person doesn't even have proper food to eat. I know man is the result of his own karmas. I would like to help the real poor ones, old ones, and destitute children. I would see to it that they learn to be employed or self emloyed and earn for their living. Blessings avid, Take care!

Very nice desires! Here there is the same thing The very rich and the very poor. Not many in the middle. The one thing I also am saddened by is people without a arm or a leg begging on the street and people give them enough to by a peice of bread but not an opportunity to change there lives. I think providing them with an opportunity for education and a different way of life will be more benneficial to them and to the community as well as the one giving. There sure is a vast amount of people in the world who are a waisted resorce only becuase of lack of education and opportunity. I honestly thank you for your post and hope that someday you are in the the possition to do these things and make the world a better place for all. Blessings for you as well! Take good car and congrads on touching your 500 post! Sincerely David

Hi there! If I happen to have a large piece of land, I would like to create a community similar to the game The Sims. I will create a community where individuals can start a new life and have a family. There will be jobs available for everyone and schools too for the children. There will also be places for recreation and night lives. But most importantly I will be the mayor (har har) and I will impose rules that would be beneficial and fair for everyone. And whoever violates my rules will be kicked out from my community! But I will be a good and compassionate mayor, of course. (har har again)

Iskayz for Mayor! Sounds like a nice place, Why is it they can make a computer game with such nice realistic features and cant do this in real life. What about making It a stipulation for all mayors to have 1000 hours of Sim play time before they take over office? LOL :)
