Is it an attitude of life?Is it the responsibility for our relatives? Is it a serious facial expression when we come across something? Is it the ability to calm down when we are angry? Is is avoiding childish mind to consider more? Being mature does not only mean growing into adulthood. Being mature is being responsible of your action and knowing how to behave in public and how to carry yourself infront of people. There are kids who behave maturely and there are grown ups who are kiddish. A mature person is sensitive to other people's feelings. Kids dont know when where and how to react in certain circumstances.

Well, yeah I'd have to agree that some people do tag maturity as one being in the 20s or so and some do base it on the looks. But for me, being mature is to be able to make the right decisions. Not only to be able to decide but make the best out out of many. In life, we always face challenges. We face situations where we need to decide about something. It could be simple matters such as where to go, up to life altering decisions. And then, making such decision and being firm with it and being responsible to whatever that decision would entail. And that decision should be the right one and best for everyone involved. And definitely not the least, making fair decisions come into play as well. Being childish will most likely show up once in a while. Even mature people play like kids. Take care my friend!

It's a good question. I think being mature means understanding that you are responsible for your own actions. It means knowing that you can't always act as you want, or do whatever you like, you have to consider other people and how it will affect them, and think of what will happen as a result of how you behave. Children, and people who behave in a childish way, don't have any consideration for other people and dont realize that the way they behave and things that they do can annoy, harm or cause offence.
