Did you ever own a slinky?

I just want to know. Because back in the day. They were so cool. where have all the slinky's gone? I used to get the metal ones... but then the plastic rainbow ones came out. How awesome they are. You ever owned a SLINKY?

I owned one back in the day, yes one of the classic silver metal ones and would bring it with me everywhere incase there was a really big set of stairs I could watch its amazingness for that much longer. Funny you mention the classic ones. I actually just saw some special on MSNBC I think about the Slinky company and they do still make those metal ones as a matter of fact that is all the make still so all the other cheap plastic ones are not truly Slinky's (R).

The only thing I loved about the plastic rainbow ones is making the rainbow in motion. Hold it then make it go back and forth by putting it in my palms. I want a slinky now.

i had a couple-both metal and plastic. i didn't like the plastic,it broke too easily. we used to send them down the stairs and amuse the cats with them.they looked all confused about what it was
