Soft serve

The other night, we went out for soft serve for the first time this summer, since the place near us opened. I love soft serve. I always have trouble deciding what to get- there are so many choices- a lot more than when I was a kid. My son didn't want to eat his ice cream that I got him in a dish. He wanted my cone. He had it dripping all down the front of him, his face, arms. It was everywhere. This is what childhood is about. I can't wait to go again!

AAAwww that sounds too cute. Kids and their ice-cream. Yep, that is definately what summer is all about to me! When we go our for soft serve, we like to go to Dairy Queen. I lovvve DQ and taking the grandkids there. Sometimes, if we are really tired, we just take them to MacDonald's and let them play in their playroom. Love their soft serve ice cream as well! Thanks for asking and making me want ice cream!

Yes, that's nice when they can play indoors, especially when it is really hot.

The closest place to us is Rita's Italian Ice. They do serve three flavors of soft serve (chocolate, vanilla, and coffee). I didn't realize there were many more flavors. I would be in heaven! LOL
Every once in a while a cone of soft serve hits the spot.
We are going to go there tonight after gymnastics but it is suppose to be really hot so we will just get the italian ice, no ice cream.

It's not just the flavors of ice cream, it's the toppings- sprinkles, dips, nuts, and then there's the sundaes with fudge, peanut butter, caramel, m&m's, flurries with snickers, butterfingers.... sometimes I just can't decide.

aww.. That is so cute that he didn't want a dish. those are the classic moments of childhood I would imagine. I love softserve, typically vanilla, in a dish with rainbow sprinkles! Since I moved I don't really know a lot about the area, but where I live is way out in the country, so I imagine I would have to go at least 15-20 miles in order to get soft serve. But I guess when I do get it, it will be even better! I usually get soft serve when we go out to a restaurant to eat, which is maybe once every few months. But definitely, it is so good. Oh man, now I want some! LOL

We live out in the country too, but there is a place just a couple of miles away. Traveling farther sure makes you appreciate it more, though.

hi sillychick I like dairy queens soft serve and their
chocolate covered vanilla soft serve is just so good,
yum just thinking about it makes me want some lol.It is not
really very near me but there is a thirty one flavors but
doubt if they have soft serve but they do have sugar free
ice cream which is neat for me as I am a diabetic. lol.

I love dairy queen's soft serve also Mcdonald's soft serve. They don't taste that sweet that's why I love it
