Do you believe that "First Love never Dies"?

i don't think u ever forget who your first love was but i think any love will die no matter how much you loved especially if u were mistreated along the way.i have been talkingto my ex for about 3 years now. he lived in ny [thank heavens] & i live in tennessee[thank heavens]. i don't want to see him in fact he was home a couple of years ago but iwouldn't see him. there will always be feelings there some good, alot bad.

i still remember my fist love. I loved her for 4 years without her knowing it. It started when we were in highschool but our paths were separated when we entered college. Upon entering college, unexpectedly we had the same school but had a different course and from there she knew about my feelings that i'd kept for years. But i did not make any move and in the end, it never worked out.

I am not sure that it was really my first love, I always look at it more as my first real crush. The feelings I had though were very strong and powerful and lasted for a long time. I was 14 when I first met him and he was at school with me, sadly he never felt the same way and was only ever friends with me. I left school and never saw him again, although I have recently found him through a website and we have spoken a couple of times but it is not really the same now!

I believe the same thing. Yes, first love is enchanting although in my case I may not cling to it because I've found others that were more desirable. I do remember it though and it was an exemplary time for me. The girl now lives in England and I do think of her from time to time.

That can be the case for most people. But that is not always the case because there are some that moves after a relationship and leaves the past behind forgetting all of it completely.:)

really the first love was the most memorable one in our life.one cant get rid of those thoughts any time in their life.all people will fall in love at anytime and the most precious one is the first love..the thoughts of it are so sweet ...we cant forset our first love............

I remember my first true love, sometimes, LOL. But I have moved on from there. Although that person will always hold a special place in my heart, those feelings will never be the same again. I have long since moved on.

Hi melo_828, Let me tell you my story: My first love, (he looked like Robert Redford) with dimples, and a Navy guy, wow, what more can I want.(JERK) I can see him now, he driving around in an old VW, the first time I saw him, it was love at first sight. He had notice me, I was at McDonald's buying something to eat, when my friend grab me and said Andy wanted to meet me. When they say Love is Blind. They were not lieing. One Christmas I had gone to buy him a very nice gray shirt, (french cuff) was the style, when he got it, he asked me to return for something different. I took it back and got him what he wanted. This first love will always be, the person I disliked for the rest of my life. He took advantage of me, date others while I waited for him. How stupid could I have been, my first love treating me this way. The way he treated, I hope that if he has a daughter, that she will not be treated the same way.

i do remember my first love.i experienced it when i was still in junior school.she's not that kinda beautiful girl,and she speak a fluent cantonese while she's a korean.i don't know why i love her.maybe just the first sight.we went to school together.it's a wonderful memorable thing for me. but now she's back to korean.

First love, I remember it. It's for me last three year. So I will not forget it. And I remember my love now, maybe after years past, I will just remember I have been fall in love with whom, but I will forget most of thing happened in our love. I think first love will also be this. Time can let you forget sad experience, and also can let you forget some good experience. I don't know when I am very old, which love experience I will remember, and which one I think is the most sweetie experience to me.

Yes. I can still remember him. In fact, I haven't forgotten him every single day. He's so special to me. we were classmates during first year high school. He was very kind to me.

It is true, you can never forget your first true love. Try as you might, it is very hard to forget the first person person who ever gave you that euphoria.

actually they all say so that first love do not die. may be its human psychology to remember first love so fondly. may be there are something about it, that how much bitter the break up may be, the sweet feelings remain all alone.

I do believe that first love is worthy to be remebered! But to thinking over and over agin on the 1st love would not be practical and will just left you hanging. What i really do believe is that love is sweeter when we will be open our eyes widely and search for the better one.

Time depends, probably in 1 or 2 years, you will remember her and thought that you can't and won't forget her. Let's see 5-10 years or longer, you've met another one you love, things will change. The first love may still in your heart, but the love then won't be the same as it was, she's different from all the others, yeah, but the one right beside you will worth more of your love. It won't die, but it will be sick, lol, i mean change
