When your cat is sleeping in a funny pose...

Do you laugh at them? Just a little bit ago (before I could get a picture, dammit!) one of our cats was in "bread loaf" position, with his face completely crashed downward, so his nose was almost under his chest. He was snoring a little, too. :) Another one of the cats has an uncanny knack to imitate soft pretzels as she sleeps.

Hello beeeckie, I do laugh at my cats, the other day my husband left his cap hat on the settee and they was cat the position she sleeping looked as if she was wearing the hat,yes she snores loudly Regards Tamarafireheart.

My cat's such a dark Brown colour,It's impossible to take a good photo of Him unless He's in sunlight! One of his best sleep poses is on his back,on a sofa cushion,all 4 paws in the air,with his big bushy tail hanging off the seat down towards the floor!right now,He's curled up in a plastic grocery crate,rolled up like a round loaf..

Mine also has some funny stunts when sleeping. I had taken a photo but cant upload it right now...she sleeps with all legs up and wide apart. I had taken a photo for several occasions, will share it when i get hold of it.

My male cat sleeps in a round basket that he decided was going to be his bed. He curls up in such a position that I can't tell which end is which. It's amazing the poses they get into. One can't help but chuckle.

I do laugh if my cat is sleeping in a funny pose. I just looked over to see, but he is sleeping in a normal position. Sometimes, he curls up in the weirdest ways, and sometimes he will sleep on his back. Usually I laugh at him, and then he starts twitching his tail. I think he probably knows that I am laughing at him. If he opens his eyes, I start calling him "Silly" and stuff like that.

I think that, like us humans, cats search for a comfort spot. because they are much more flexible than most people, sometimes they find their comfort in some odd position, and end up falling asleep that way.
