Ledger's performance in the Batman tale "The Dark Knight" is so remarkable that next January 22, the one-year anniversary of his death, he could become just the seventh actor in Oscar history to earn a posthumous nomination.Advance word on Heath Ledger's "Dark Knight" performance: "Extraordinary" Ledger could be one of just a handful of actors to get posthumous Oscar nod But odds of winning are long: only late nominee to win was Peter Finch

That would be awesome. From what I'm seeing on the commercial he really did put everything into that role to become the Joker. I think he will be remembered and praised for this role. This whole thing still really upsets me because he was so gifted. And he didn't act like most actors, he actually cared less about being in the limelight.

I'm very excited about seeing the The Dark Knight. When I was really young I went to see the movie Batman Returns staring the old batman who was Michael Keaton. We went on opening night and the lines were so long. We waited for hours and I know the new batman movie will be the same. I plan on going to see it but not on opening night.

That would be great if he won it and it was given to his little girl. I miss hearing about him tremendously. I have seen most of his movies except the dark knight and I want to see it so bad. Ledger is definitely going to be missed for those of us that loved his movies for years to come.

It's been in the limelight for a while. I think it could go either way. I beleive that he'll definitely get a nod, but winning may be a little harder for him to do. I haven't seen the new batman movie yet, but I want to. Of course, the original batman with Jack Nicholson as the joker will be hard to beat. I've only seen part of Batman begins, it seems like they are cashing in on superheros and I'm not sure which ones to go see.
