Is anyone else trying to be gluten free. I feel like most of my common ailments have stemmed from eating to much gluten. I have started the process in being gluten free and already i felt the weight drop off of me. I dont look as bloated as i normally do. My digestive system is feeling happier and happier.

I've been wanting to try this. I'm going to slowly ween myself. I know what you mean about the digestion feeling better. I went for about 3 days without bread and I didn't have that heavy uncomfortable feeling.

I've been gluten free for about 1 year now and it's not hard. I just look at the ingredients to suspicious looking foods and if they have gluten, i put them back down and get another food.

As i keep on doing it, it has been easier to spot foods to stay away from. In some grocery stores they have a gluten free section. Do you have any great dishes that you love? Do you care to share. I am fairly new and was totally addicted to pastas and carbs.

I discovered that the gluten free diet eases my acid reflux so I am sticking to the diet. I don't have lab tests confirming my gluten intolerance, it was all just by elimination and self-diagnotsis. I figured there must be a connection between acid reflux symptoms coz symptoms come back when I accidentally eat gluten.
