Are fibroids dangerous

Hi to all, im a mother of one. When i was about 3 months pregnant my doctor told me that i have a fibroid that i need surgery. My son is now 1 1/2 and i still havent had surgery, honestly i don't want to. Does anybody know of any other way to shrink them like medicine or something. Theirs times i get pevic pains but nothing major. Are they dangerous is left alone? Me and my hubby were talking about having another baby the other day but i dont know if the fibroid may be a problem. Help

fibroid may or may not cause problem to a new baby. It depends on how fast it is growing. It starts shrinking at the time of menopause by itself. But for now you can shrink it through medicines as well if you don't want to take risk. But if you take medicines then for upto 2 years you may not plan for a baby.
