What's your favorite type of paint to work with for personal artworks, and why? Watercolor, oil, acrylic, etc...

I prefer prefer watercolours because I think they are easier to blend and give a delicate, ethereal quality. Also, I dont have to spend so long cleaning brushes etc. I'm not much of an artist but wouldn't read books on technique or anything - it somehow takes away the personal creativity.

I love to work with acrylic it just seems to be the one paint that will listen to me. I can't stand working with oil it hates me and things tend to get ugly fast.LOL

Acrylics because the results are instant and non-waiting periods pending on the application of layers on paper and canvas..they plain don't smell of mineral spirits or wait three days to dry to see the results of each effect. Perfect for the impatient artist like my-self..water colors come second..
