do you believe on this?

I was not but my wife and my in laws and known old people believing on this. It is a coincident only that there is a butterfly roaming around on that place at that time.

To me not only butterflies that remind me of the loved ones. Any animal or insect that came towards me reminds me of someone I knew. I don't believe it entirely but sometimes I think it could be the one I knew.

I have never heard this about butterflies before but I do believe in feathers being a message from your departed loved ones. I have found feathers in some very unexplainable places at some very appropriate times so maybe there is something in the butterfly thing, I think messages and such can come from many different forms.

Well, old folks say it's true associating the butterflies with the departed. For me it's just a coincidence just like the bad luck associated with the black butterfly and the black cat. But I have also things associated with butterfly and me and my hubby is believing that butterflies no matter what color came with good fortune. Whenever we saw one enters our house or is flying near us, good fortune is knocking at our door after a few days. I hope good luck won't break

I do not believe! I think it is just a myth! The soul of our departed loved ones can't enter the body of butterflies or anything else for the mother. That is not biblical! So anything not in accordance with the teaching of the Bible,I refused to believe.

I truly believe in this and it's not just butterflies. Just recently, a woman who I knew as another grandmother to me passed away, and the second this happened, a single dragonfly came in and flew around my uncle(which this was his mother) he said, "It's ok mom, you can go" and the dragonfly actually left. Since then, I have noticed a lot more dragonflies around me and my family. I feel and believe that she is actually protecting us. Another incident was a very good friend of mine passed away at exactly 11:11am and 9 times out of 10 myself and my youngest son look at the clock at exactly that same time, almost daily. I think it is ok to believe in these little things, to help sometimes deal with the bigger things.

Butterflies are beautiful creatures and we should admire and treaure them. They have a definite life cycle. From the eggs develop caterpillars who eat and eat until they they are huge and fat. Then thy spin themselves into a chrysalis and hang upside down on the underside of a leaf or branch. Then they transform themselves into butterflies and exit the chrysalis. The cycle starts again. I don't believe they come and remind people of events. I think this belief is enshrined in folklore.

I don't know if this is true. But when I see butterflies, I am very happy looking at them but I don't want touch they. I think If I can touch them I will squeezed them. There's a lot of beliefs that those butterflies are those people who are departed that are visiting us, when it enters inside our house. They said if its white or brown. Well, I don't have proofs that this is true but if it is..I will probably talk to my mom and tell her what I want to.

I don't really believe in this kind of thing but I find this a cute and lovable belief. When I was a small boy I used to go into the garden at home and let butterflies rest on my outstretched hand. They are beautifull little things and if ever you go into the nature of butterflies you'll discover that they are an incredibly complexed creation. This is nice and I wish I could believe something like this.

I have heard about that butterfly thing but until now I was still in the middle of thinking whether to believe it or not. Cause there are times that I was thinking how can a departed love one can become a butterfly? It that a reincarnation or something? Then there are also times that when I saw butterflies I felt that someone was looking to me and then when I look around there's no one out there. I really am still confused about that story.

This may sound dumb, but my son passed away 8 years ago. I have experienced seeing a MOTH hanging around my home at times and when I go to the cemetary at times. I find it comforting, it works for me. I also believe the pennies I keep finding are my son giving me pennies from heaven.

i think its coincidence, but my parents believe a brown bufferfly symbolize money. it means you have a unexpected money and you never know who will give that to you.

Hello kaezy_kulet, I do beleive that they are sending the butterflies for rememberence,your loved one are always with you and watching over you. Ther is no such things as coincidence. Tamarafireheart.
