watched a movie over and over again. the first movied i ever did this with was grease- i was like 7 years old the first time i saw it and I don't know i just had to watch it over and over again. Sickened my parents to the point they hated it, but i could do all the dances -my favorite being the one with them singing tell me more, tell me more in the lunch area/bleachers--and knew all the words. My current movie I'm battling with is Knocked Up-Love it love it!!! But now I'm bugging my husband with it :). So back to my question is this just me or do you like a movie so much you are addicted to it, and what movie is it :)

I really don't like watching movie twice no matter how beautiful the story is. But I have one exception...it's about a warrior Japanese girl and the title of the movie is " Azumi". I love her in that movie.

I can definitely answer this question. The best movie that me and my spouse can watch over and over and over again is "Best in Show" (2000) It's about a fake documentary about different dog lovers from all walks of life. It's soo hilarious, we watched it at the movies 8 years ago and we loved it so much we bought the dvd and been watching it many times every year since. My spouse and I often incorporate quotes from the movie in our conversations. It's part of our lives now. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend to watch it.

You know we do that with Friends-the tv show. We have quoted lines from that all the time. Sometimes the characters are so good, so real that you can totally relate to them and they do become a part of your life. that's when you know it is a good production. I've never watched best in show but will need to now.

Hey we have the same favorite movie. GREASE!!! Yes, I have memorized it too. I started watching it when I was 3 years old! And I've had 2 beta tapes of it and now I have a VHS tape of it. I'm planning to buy the DVD version too. It's such a good movie and I really really love John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. I like GREASI 1 better than the second one where Michelle Pfiffer starred in.

Awesome--you know i even had the chance to go to theatre to see it my senior year--1998 it was a one day one showing thing here in town, my dad took me. It was awesome to see it on the big screen :). Grease 2 I hated that i've watched maybe 3 times and not even all the way through. Cute baby

I love The Breakfast Club. When it first came out on VHS (telling my age ) My cousin had a slumber party for her 12th B-Day party. we watched it over and over and over. I have seen it about 1,000 times. My husband drives us all crazy with Star Wars.. ALL of them... he has seen each of them at least 2000 times

Hey, welcome to myLot! I have several movies that I've watched numerous times. Every time they come on TV, I watch them, even though we've bought the DVD! LOL My favorites (I have several... can't choose just one) are the Star Wars movies, the Star Trek movies, Independence Day, Alien, Aliens, Hook, Earth Girls Are Easy, and The Bucket List. There are more, but I think my all-time favorite, the one I've watched more than any others, is Independence Day. I bought Hook when my kids were younger, and they absolutely fell in love it with! I know we much have watched that movie at least 12 times in one week!

You sound just like my husband's sister. Before he and I met, when he would visit her, or vice versa (they lived about 180 miles apart at the time), she would indulge him with his sci fi mania. She can't stand it. Luckily, my hubby and I are exactly the same when it comes to movies, except that he likes those bang bang shoot-em-up movies and I can't stand them. I indulge him with them because he'll sit through some of my "chick flicks". The Bucket List is a movie that both guys and gals can enjoy. It has a highly emotional story to it (you laugh and cry), but it also has the two main characters doing things on their "bucket list" (things to do before they die) which is something all the guys can enjoy. I laughed so hard my side hurt! We both cried at the end (something my husband NEVER does). It's an awesome movie, and if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it! Take care!

Ah , my husband would love you I've been subjected to the horrors of all the star wars movies and specials--I myself am just not into sci fi movies but withstand them for him since he watches mine.

Everytime I'm in a movie house [it happens around at least once every three months though], I spend around or at least 5 hours in there. That means I will be watching the movie three times in a row within that 5 hours. hahahah. It's good. At first, I tend to watch the movie as a whole. Then I get to pick some of my favorite scenes or hear my favorite lines. So I pay attention to them the second run. By the third time, I get to learn more about the scenes and lines. Probably make an analysis of what really happened in the scenes. Interesting really. And I could hear you asking me now, "why not watch the film on DVD so that you could play fastforward and rewind the scenes?" That, my dear, will be another experience.

It wasn't me that watched movies over and over and over, it was actually my brother growing up. I can't stand watching Annie or La Bamba because he watched them way too many times! He would watch it through and then hit the rewind button and watch it all again - like five times in a row. I still don't understand that behaviour - he knows every single word and movement too! I think he still does it, at least now he and I are adults I am not made to watch them too!

I used to watch Grease over and over again too, what a film it is one that I certainly never get tired of. Then there was Titanic, another film I could watch and watch, and Dirty Dancing, and probably a few more. They are the only ones that I remember at the moment though!

Knocked up is a really good movie. And, I am sad to say, I have actually never watched Grease, although I have been wanting to. I just do not think that we have a copy of that movie. As a kid, I used to love watching the movie Wild America. We never had a copy ourselves until the DVD player was invented and it came out on DVD, but I would watch it every time I went over to my parent's friends (they were really my grandparent's friends to begin with, but they were like another set of grandparents for me). Every time we went over there, I would have them put it on. I knew everything, and could quote some of the scenes. I would even sing the song that they sung in the cave to soothe the bears.

Wild america...i don't think that i've seen that one. ISn't JTT from home improvement in that? JTT-I'm really dating my self there. The part about when you went over to your grandparents friends house they'd put it on for you. I was like that with , the legend of billie jean. we didn't have it and it was so hard to find so when we went to my mom's hairdresser/friend she'd always put it on for me to watch and of course let me borrow it. I now have a copy of that movie that i paid through the nose for off ebay. Cult classic-watch if you ever get a chance :)

I'm always watching movies over and over. I can't tell you how many times I've watched some of them. Some favorites of mine are: The Bird Cage, Baby Boom, Godzilla (the newest one), Fools Rush In. Some of them I watch for more than just the movie. I can't explain it but I love the lighting and sets in The Bird Cage. My favorite scene in Baby Boom is the very last one, where she is sitting in the rocking chair with the child. The lighting and room look so peaceful, makes me want to be there.

Fools rush in is awesome love matthew perry. My husband will willingly watch this one even bought me the dvd. He'll pop it in on his romantic nights :)

Oh my god, I had to constantly watch that same movie "Grease" over an over too. I simply loved it and couldn't get enough. Another movie I constantly have to watch over and over again is "The Wizard of Oz". It's funny you say that you now bug your husband with it. My husband bugs me because he constantly has to watch "Twister" and "Jaws" over and over again. So, I guess the old saying goes what comes around goes around. lol

Grease used to be my favourite movie to. I like to watch my favourites over and over, it seems they never get old to me. I have very few though that I have watched THAT MUCH. Some are very very old, or before my time, and others are new. One of them was my boyfriends back..about a guy who gets shot and turns into a zombie in love, so corny I know but at like 8 I loved it. Another one was son in law, with pauly shore, I could recite every line I love it so much. And the most recent is Bring it On all or nothing, with solane knowles and hayden Pannetierre. I love that movie:)

OMG!!! You hit the nail right on the head. I LOVE Grease!! That has always been my favorite movie since the first time I saw it. I can look at that movie over and over again. I even like the second. My daughters love Grease too. We drive my husband and sons crazy with that movie because are always jumping around dancing and singing all of the songs. So no, it's not just you.( and i don't know too many men that do like that movie....probably except for the men played in the it. lol) Now I'm stuck on the movie 50 First Dates.

Yes, I have watched It's a Wonderful Life, The Christmas Story, and Charlie and the Factory, more than 10 or 15 times. I love these movies so very much. I even love watching them over and over again so much, that I even have them on dvd's that I bought from the retail store. So, I can watch them any time that I want to. You are definitely not alone. I am addicted to these movies, and there is another on that I'm addicted to that I watch every time it comes on television as the others. It's called Any Wednesday, starring Jane Fonda, and Dean Jones, and of course I have the dvd for it. I'm sure that I will continue to feel this way about these movies. In fact, since I've mentioned this latest movie, I'm planning to watch it tomorrow (Saturday).
