I have been tried to be scammed many times, but I have always been alert and investigative so they never succeeded. Scammers will not stop as long as their prey falls to them so better be careful always! Happy posting!

Unfortunately I have been scammed a few times, fortunately it wasn't a great deal of money I lost but it has made me very wary about investing money! I always go on personal recommendations but they are sometimes wrong, a friend of mine told me to sign up to a site and I did and upgraded because I felt confident that they had recommended it to me but unfortunately the site turned out to be a big scam and they closed it and I lost my money! There are so many scams out there that you have to be so damn careful, the money I lost was small but it's still money lost I am glad not to lose a big amount but I can see how people can easily be scammed by sites on the internet promising big money rewards!

Yes, that is all we have to do now. Not to be easily trusting. I wasn't scammed of money. It was more of a indentity scam, i suppose. I am the kind of person who trusts easily. But now i am being extra careful in everything i do. Thank my friend for all your responses. You are the only friend who have responded to all my discussions. I appreciate it very much! Good day to you!

I have never been but could have been if I weren't had good friends around. Its difficult initially when you step into the world of internet but with time you get wiser. You know which is a spam and which one to ignore and trash rightaway. You know how copy book scam works. You know how not to let go your personal details on internet and stuffs like that. I have not lost anything but TIME, as Wolfie has rightly said, is precious. At the end of the day I were hurt and sad!

Hi! I got scammed once. I believe it was a scam because when I tried their contact information, an automated machine would answer. I think I was stupid to not try to contact them first. It happened when I tried to get a free credit report. I did not see a VERY SMALL clause at the bottom that there is a one-time fee of $19.00. I was really stupid to give my bank information. Since it appeared that I authorized them to debit the money off my account, my bank did not stop the transaction. By the way, I did not get a single credit report from the said company. That was a learning experience, so I am very careful with the sites I go to these days.

Yes, I have. They are a copy-paste website and a website that is like yuwie and mylot. The former asks the person who wants to register for at least $76 and the latter never pays me after i have signed in it for at least two months although i have done many activities in it and try to invite my friends to support it.

Wow, that is quite a lot to lose. Well, in a way i think it is better to lose money that to lose one's identity because of these persons. I have heard some people, including me, in some way of being victims of identity thieves. I think, that is much harder to regain or get back. Anyway, i hope that we all be careful in our next transactions, whatever that may be. Thank you, for the response. Take care my friend.
