Tsunami Shelter - is there such a thing?

If a tsunami brings 50 to 150- feet high wave inland for 5 minutes, chances of survival is low
... unless.
It is suggested that risks are max at shoreline to a few kilometers inland.
There are ideas of contructing a basement type shelter that withstands the short-term high pressure column of water above.
If I lived near the shore I'd build a "small waterproof compartment similar to a submarine compartment." There should be enough air trapped to breathe for 10 minutes. It's better that nothing :)
