The relationship between Faith and Works is like Lightning and Thunder

We are saved by faith alone, but faith that saves is never alone. It's like that with faith just as thunder always follows lightning, good works always follow true faith. When we see lightning flash across the sky, we expect the roar of thunder to follow. If there were no lightning, there would be no thunder because one causes the other.

Oh my goodness! I absolutely love the way you put that.
I had a horrible time keeping my faith and salvation seperated away from my works when I was first saved.
Without realizing is I was adding my works to what Jesus did. I just didn't understand how they worked.
Then one day this small, still voice told me that what he did was sufficiant, I didn't need to add anything to what he had accomplished on the cross.
His blood was enough to save me and keep me saved. Now I would have new and good works because I was a new creature in Christ.
Again, beautiful the way you put that.
