When you go to the cinema to watch a movie, do you....

Always sit in a certain spot in the theatre? I actually prefer the middle of the cinema - so half way down and in the centre of the row of seats, how pedantic of me! Like to see a certain type of movie only? My favourite type of movie is a scary one - horror or thriller but I am open to not too silly comedies or dramas and I will go and watch movies that my husband likes too. Buy popcorn and a drink everytime? Sometimes I don't buy anything to eat or drink! Usually I just get a drink and steal some of my husbands popcorn. Occasionally though I splurge and get a bag of chips and a drink - how extravegant of me! Talk during the movie? No, never, ever - well maybe if there is a really good reason! But I was brought up to 'behave' at the movies - or even while watching tv for that matter - but when I am at the movies I try to remain as quiet as I can. Would you speak up if there was someone else in the cinema annoying you by speaking loudly or making a constant noise? I only do if I am in a bad mood, otherwise I am good at tuning out to annoying noises (now that I have children!) Get excited when you go to the movies? Oh yes, it is quite an outing in my household! So what are your answers to the above questions?

audience shocked - wide-mouth movie goers
Well, you have lots of question.First, I don't have a certain spot in the movie house. I sit in the first available seat I find, although i like to sit at the center where my view of the screen is focused on it.Second, I do buy popcorn and drink everytime I see a movie. My favorite movies are action, suspense and horror flicks. Third, It's a no-no to talk while watching a movie, how will you understand what the movie is all about if you keep talking . I watch movies to unwind or relax.

madebyrobyn, yes my partner always makes us sit in the centre and in the middle - half way down. I love to see romantic, comedies and dramas, but will watch movies my partner likes to, and end up loving them usually. My partner doesn't usually want anything, but i always buy something, pop corn or a frozen coke. Sometimes we sneak loolies in in our jacket pockets, because it is a lot cheaper. I never talk during the movie, and it annoys me when people do! Although i wouldn't speak up if other people were being loud, I am too chicken to, i would just block it out. And yes i sure do get excited, my partner would rather get 4 DVD's instead and sit at home and watch them, as it costs the same but you get 4 movies instead, so yes i love when we go to the movies. A fun outing!

Always sit in a certain spot in the theatre? Sadly for my claustrophobic self, yes. I like to sit near the aisle. Like to see a certain type of movie only? Action movies and comedy mostly. I hate movies about weddings even when there's comedy in it. Buy popcorn and a drink everytime? Water only. Eating popcorn distracts me sometimes. Lol. Talk during the movie? Rarely. Would you speak up if there was someone else in the cinema annoying you by speaking loudly or making a constant noise? I wouldn't. I know someone else would react first before I do. Get excited when you go to the movies? Yes, of course.

I used to big on opening night blockbusters. That was before I got married. (And no I am not cheating.) I used to sit smack in the middle, but I found that sitting on the front row gave me more room to stretch out and be obnoxious. I always watch my movie witha large mixed up slushie, and milk duds. No other way to enjoy a flick if you ask me.
