With all the recession stuff going on these days, literally millions of Americans have been laid off of their jobs. I myself have never experienced this because I run my own business, but I know that it is a reality to many other people. Has this happened to you or a loved one? How did you get through it? Are you currently employed?

I am currently employed but without pay. LOL!!! You could say I work a lot but in general I dont get a salary and if worst comes to worst I ended up spending my own money because of this work and I dont even get a reimbursement. This really sucks and I hate it...

My dad got laid off a while ago. The company he worked for for more than 30 years went out of business. I got fired, but not laid off. Of course, I think it was a tad bit unfair, but oh well. What can I do? And of course with jobs being pretty scarce these days, I haven't been able to find something else. *sigh* I haven't gotten through it yet. I'm stressed out and broke.
