How many Floors Do You Want Your House to Have?

Do like a house with several floors? If I am able to purchase a lot with a big area. I would build a house with just a basement and no second floor. You know why? Its because it will be hard for me to go up and down the stairs when I grow old. I want all the rooms (kitchen, washroom, laundry, bedroom, living, dining, etc.) in one level. What about you, what would you prefer?Just Sharing,

It does not matter to me. My husband and I are perectluy comfortable in small spaces, because they are less for us to maintain. All we need is a roof over our heads, a bed, a radio, a coffee pot, and eachother. Everything else is just an added expence for us.

I really want a big house, but that is just a dream of mine. I don't know if myself and my future husband will be able to afford a big house...but I'm hoping!

I am older now and we couldn't do the stairs anymore, so one level and basement would be enough for us.

I would like a home with 2 floors and a basement. In the basment i would have the washer and dryer down there and maybe make the basement into an guest room with a bathroom down there. The first floor would have the kichen, living room, dinning room, and the master bath and master bedroom. The second floor would would have two bedrooms on it with another bathroom. First floor would have a office also.
