Back Pain and Wrong diagnosis

Japan

Some six months before I felt pain at the left hip. When told my experience about this pain, some friends advised me to consult a urologist. I did and after scanning they told I have kidney stone. Doctors prescribed some medicince and even after taking it for one month there was no improvement. Over the time the pain worsened and I started feeling numbness in the left leg and walking became difficult with pain. When I consulted a doctor in Japan, after X-ray and MRI, he confirmed that I have disc prolapse for my L5/S1 back bone structure and do the physiotherapy. The previous doctors had wasted my 5 months and only helped me to increase the pain with their wrong diagnosis. Do you have similar experience of back pain or wrong experience. Please share it with me. I am feared a little bit of the future treatement. I heard that if there is no improvement, doctors will go for operation. Is it possible to continue normal life after operation also. Now I do all these online activities to some extent to keep myself busy to forget the pain and fear. I am sharing my inner feelings with you. This is a long mail, sorry for making you bored. But if you have any suggestion please tell me.
