holiday means a lot to us. this a time to celebrate something and we're very happy because theres no work. we have time for our families and friends. we have some party and reunions. and sometimes we go out of town for a vacation. my favorite holiday every year is christmas and new years day. i love it because this day is very different from the others. almost all people are happy and the breeze of the wind is so cool and different. this also the time we celebrate the birth day of our Lord Jesus Christ. and it's only a week before the new year so it;'s a long vacation for the family and friends. i love to go to the church for the midnight mass. and after that we do some fireworks. i really enjoy this day. how i wish everyday is a christmas day LOL...

My favorite holiday is Independence Day, July 4. Basically the main reason is because that is my birthday too. It's also really the only other "party holiday" other than New Years. And being able to party on your birthday on one of the hottest party nights is pretty awesome. I spent my 21st in Vegas and it was a blast. Fireworks are cool too and when I was a kid I used to think the fireworks were just for me for my birthday. It was pretty sweet... until I learned that they weren't just for me. It's also during the summer so I can be outside and active (I really like to be active) instead of being couped up inside because it's too cold.

I would have to say that my favorite holiday is Halloween. I do not take it for the negative stuff that people say about it, but just for the fun that can be had. I take it for the fun that my friend and I have when we can meet together on that day. I remember, a few Halloweens ago, he came to my house wearing almost the same thing that I was wearing. We have a similar jacket, and we were both wearing black shirts and blue jeans. So, we greeted the children coming up to get the candy and, when asked what we were, we told them, "Twins."
