I read books to take me out of my world sometimes and place me in someone else's.

I agree, reading books lets you escape from the real world. It also stimulates my mind and enhances my imagination. As a creative writer, reading other authors' works helps me hone my skills. Reading non-fiction is also interesting, if you're interested in the topic you're reading. I think it's important for people to stay informed.

I read books to keep my mind going. The books I read make me think about my life and how I live it. I also like to figureout what the novels are about and formulate papers and stuff.

Books - I love the fascinating world of books. What about you?
I read books for a lot of reasons.Sometimes I read them to gain knowledge. I read them to get to know the culture of other countries. When I am tired and angry then give me peace. When I am sad they make me laugh and sometimes even make me cry. I am really fascinated by the world of books.

I read books because they take me to other places and other times where I'll never have an opportunity to go myself. Even if the books are fiction, I'm able to get different perspectives on life and gain knowledge of how the rest of the world lives.

I read books to gain more knowledge. Most of the time I read books if I need to learn about something.
