Too Hot to Go Out?

OK. The sun is shining vigorously and it's of high humidity. It's so bright and hot that sometimes I don't even want to go out (because I don't want to get all sweaty!). What about you? Do you enjoy the sun or do you not like it? Do you sometimes get the feeling that you don't want to go out because it's too hot outside?

hi wonderice! i don't enjoy the sun but i'd rather go out on a sunny day than on a rainy day. if its too hot and i really have to go out for an important errand, then i'd just wear light clothes, bring an umbrella and a dark sunglasses. sometimes, if i'm not in a hurry, i'd delay my errand and go out until its not that hot, like at 4 in the afternoon.

Hello wondericequeen, I don't like it if the weather is too hot. I don't like to get sweaty. I am lazy to walk under the sun too. I prefer to stay at home if it is too hot. Or if it is during my lunch hour, I rather stay in my office instead of going out to have lunch!

It depends on how hot it is. Today the high where I live was 108 degrees. No way did I want to go out on such a hot day, but I did anyway as I had to go grocery shopping. Fortunately I did it before peak heat, but it was still very hot just the same.

Certainly! In our state, it's too hot to go out before five PM in the evening. A person could get an early start before eight AM and get to a location and go inside. But it's scorching hot by ten AM. Too hot to be outside.

I like sunshine when it's below 75 degrees, but we're supposed to have 90 degrees F here, that's too hot for me and that's not moderate temps. So I like the sun in moderate temperatures, but not in high ones.

Okay, wondericequeen, you are now speaking my language! Yes, yes, yes, I often feel it is just too hot to be outside! I try not to be a stick-in-the-mud about it, but gosh, it's tough to feel all hot and sweaty all the time. I really do try to push myself to get out and about with my husband, especially on weekends, so that we can have some fun! We've been out alot this weekend. We just crank up the air conditioning in the car or truck and go! Hang in there! I know just how you feel!

i too am not a summer person. i don't like to be all hot and sweaty either. i rather be in the house under the air conditioner. however, i am grateful for the sun and the summer. the fact the sun makes things grow really is a wonderful thing.

That always happen to me... but there is nothing i can do... even if it is very hot outside... i still have to go out because i need to go to work... but if is a weekend... i choose to stay indoors... or brave the heat and go to the nearest mall... where i can cool off...

Hot outside would never be a reason to keep me in except that opening the door lets the heat in and then it could get overbearing inside. Sofor that reason, I guess you could say so. Color me crude, but I like to get sweaty, lol.

I feel the same way, if I didn't have to get my kids out every day (because they would hurt each other eventually or I would go crazy listening to them fight) I would stay in the a/c. We were at a cookout the other day and it was so hot and the gnats were all over the food. Movies are good things to do on days like this.

On the hot days like this that just make you want to be sick I love to be in the pool and then go straight to a nice air condited house. I tend to stay out of the heat when we have a high humidex rating and in the summer it usually is quite hot that you just can't bare it at all. Always keep cool and hydrated on these days thats for sure.
