Carribean life, Pirates of Carribea

Japan

Pirates of the carribean ranks second in myLot discussion. This means many people like the subject. Since I have never been to carribean life, could any one please tell me what is different from other parts of the world with Carribea. Once I happened to watch some portions of this movie, but could not understand much. US is faster than our minds to catch up with new ideas. So, please help me to understand in simple language. Thanks in advance. Arigatou gozaimasu (Thank you very much with politeness in Japanese)

Well, I hope you know that the movie is not reality, lol. It's set way back when anyway. The Caribbean Islands are tropical islands, nice beaches, nice place to have a vacation. Also used to be popular back in pirate times, lol. The pirate movies have been extremely popular because they are well made and have popular actors in them. Maybe you should watch them with Japanes subtitles or voiceovers.
