For me, I've never had the privillege of being in love on allot of occasions. Never been in love long enough to try and see how things would work out. However, whenever I have been in love, I've realised that you need to work on two things. One is letting the person feel good. To let my loved one know I am thinking of them and want them to feel good about themselves, I do things like send them flowers. However, flowers are expensive and allot of the girls I've been out with don't expect them regularly, except on special occasions. What seems to be well appreciated though, is notes that let them know that I think they are beautiful. Thanks to modern technology, there's sms and once in a while a charming sms can work wonders to their moods. The other aspect of showing love is more difficult, namely just being there to take away the down moments of your loved ones. For guys, this can be especially difficult - because this usually means letting the girl pour out her problems to you. As guys, our instinct is to give advice or ride to the rescue. However, on many occasions, girls just want someone to listen to them. Of course, there are other aspects to showing a woman you love her. This includes doing things like carrying the baby when she's trying to sleep, making sure that she has enough to live on and so on.
