While the world celebrates independence day on the 4th of July, Christians celebrate an additional day of freedom, everyday. We celebrate the day that Jesus gave his life as a ransom for many. Jesus said, I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.
Jesus came and died so that we could have freedom from sin, guilt, and the ultimate punishment of eternal separation from God's love. I know for a fact that I would not want to spend one second without God's love completely surrounding me. What about you, have you ever thanked and celebrated Jesus for what he did that day on Calvary?

I agree with you totally, Rozie, except for one thing. What did you mean by saying, "While the world celebrates independence day on the 4th of July"? The United States may be the big boss of all other countries in the world, but surely, it doesn't signify the whole world!
