Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories, intrigued me!

I've played it and its worth it. I think the "best" part is leveling your characters so you can beat the superbosses and get other endings. Disgaea 2 is better in terms of gameplay as status for your characters come easier. Skills and abilities are okay at first, but the fun looking moves come much later. Plenty of the skills look "overpowered" and completely exaggerated like a cartoon (one animation launches both characters into space and your character punches the other back to Earth orbit). Overall gameplay: Disgaea is a 3/4 turn, tactical RPG. You can have a maximum of 10 characters on the field. You move your characters during your turn and execute actions from each one. When all 10 have acted, you end your turn, and then the enemy gets their turn. As a side note: Disgaea 3 is coming stateside sometime in Autumn.
