Is it good to have a lady boss?

Which one you prefer? A guy to be your boss or a lady? Now I am having a middle-aged lady as my manager,I found it so suffocated to talk to her. Everything she asked would make you feel so uncomfortable,maybe the ways and words that she used,for me,I think is nasty.Lady boss always have mood swing,she will have bad mood for almost 5 days in a week except Saturday because over here,we work half day for Saturday that makes her to have good mood.Sometimes I think maybe a guy to be the boss will be better,because guy will always be more easier to talk with,and normally won't take things too seriously. Am I right?Or you have different views on this topic?

I had a lady boss n I love her. She jokes around wit us n we havea good time. We have work parties all the time and she is easy 2 talk 2...I prefer a lady boss!

yenwie I think guys do better under men as they can talk more'easily. I am a woman and have had only women bosses
two that were super bosses and one that was the boss from hell. No matter what I did, she would just scowl at me. a very unfriendly woman who lived on apples and peanut butter. she was critical of age and weight. disliked heavy women and older
woman. shefinally forced my top boss to fire me. but two weeks later headquarters fired her sorry butt.cannot say I cried any
over the fact.

I've had a female boss before who did have mood swings that really affected us in the office. Although she's good when it comes to her work responsibilities, her behavior towards the staff is a different matter. Anyway, I think, there are male bosses too who may be nasty in some ways. I guess so long as you're doing a good job, you don't need to get into trouble with the boss, male or female.

I have a female boss.. and we get along very well . we can relate on many topics . and we also have become friends outside of work .
