Do you make pizza bread?

I tried this AM and it turned out messed-up, too greasy (made it with sausage), too gluey, and everything leaked all over the pan (cheese etc). So what advice can you give me so I do it better next time?

I made it several years ago with pepperoni and it was great. Used a light layer of cheese and wrapped each piece of french bread in foil. Only left the top part open so when the cheese melted, the foil caught it. I did make it in the old conventional oven so it would heat thoroughly.

I agree. Fresh baked bread is so yummy but doesn't have the consistency as French bread to handle the load...lol

Ok, I'll try it with French bread instead of bread dough next time. Sounds great, probably cheaper, too. But there is something about fresh baked bread products, you know?

Did you cook them using your microwave oven? Or just cook them in a pan?

I have never made pizza bread, but I have to say, it sounds really good! I am not good at cooking, so if I were to have it I would have to find a frozen variety of it and put it in the oven. But I do wish you luck in making some that turns out good. I'm guessing that the more times you make it the better it will be each time.

When my cousins make it, it's great! I make it, it's a mess. Maybe I'll have to contact them. I hate to though, they think I'm a better cook than them and I'd hate to burst their bubble (ha, ha). Thanks for wishing me luck and take care.

I have never made pizza bread before. I have made mini pizza out of English muffins and tortillas though. Last week I made these cheese and sausage pockets out of cresent rolls for my son that he really liked. I just browned some sausage and added some onion, garlic, and parsley to it. Then I made a little bit of a cream sauce with the drippings from the sausage and stirred in some shredded cheese and popped it in some cresent rolls and made a pocket.
