Got referrals? From where?

Have you been successful in getting referrals on myLot? How do you do it? What's your best source for referrals? Come on, everyone wants to know your secret!

dont have a single one, been trying to get referals from sites that im also a member, i dont know why no one among those ive tried to invite is interested to atleast just check it out

If they tried it, they'd like it, right? That's what I think. Of course the person who referred me (ahem, she knows who she is) told me that for awhile before I joined, so maybe people will come along later based on your referral. Hope so!

Good point that there's more to it than just the referral income. MyLot is a good place to learn things. Certainly there are an awful lot of places online and I know that I'm spread pretty thin, and obviously others are as well.

I would like to know too. I am not sucessful at getting referrals and have just settled for doing the work myself and if someone joins under me - that is just the icing on the cake! So, tell me too, what I am missing!

Looks like we're not the only ones, but I do know that you have at least one referral, someone who should spend more time on here than I do, I mean than she does! Hopefully someone else will come along soon who's willing to share their referral secrets!

I have a few referrals but mine were just people i know,and none of them are active so it does me no good....I have heard of places you can get referrals but i have yet to do that....Good luck on your search,and i do wish i could help you..

It's a good point that even if you do get referrals, sometimes people just don't want to "play." Thanks for your input!

No, I have not been successful at all. My profile shows 161 referrals, but not a single one is active. I even have inactive family members, lol. I guess myLot is just not for everyone, but those who like it do love it.

I am starting to think all of those people already belong, but seriously, I have thousands of referrals on my other sites, but this one just will not play out. I still love myLot though.

Obviously you're very active, so that certainly must be a key. The old saying "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink" comes to mind. You can get people to sign up, but you can't make them active - that's up to them! Thanks for the response, and congratulations on all the referrals. Hopefully more will get active in the future.

Yes, I got 1 active referral. My sister who is very fund of posting here in mylot even she is busy with her schooling. You know, it's not about referrals some times, there's a lot of way to earn here. Posting,uploading and having best responses and + rate. What's great here! well earning friends and learn a lot things from different discussions...maybe that the secret that I had. Keep on posting!

I actually got my very busy sister to join, too! She's like me, on here very sporadically. She's started some really good conversations, though. It is fun to get to know people here, as you said, and that's a very good point. Money isn't everything, right? Thanks for your response!
