a painter may say losing his hands
a lover may say losing his love
a dancer may say losing his ability to walk or stand
a mother may say losing his child
a elderly man may say losing his ability to take care of himself
what do you think is the worst thing that can happen to a person??

These are really great examples of what the worst may bring. I would be highly upset if I lost feeling below the neck and I wouldn't be able to play my guitar. And I guess losing my hands would be traumatic for me too. As a writer, losing my 'vision', my perception, would be unbearable.

I think nothing could be worse than losing faith that it's all going to be OK. Without that, why bother to get up in the morning?
