What simple pleasures do you get out of life?
First and foremost, I bask in the love of Christ and know that without Him, these pleasures wouldn't be possible. I love the warm sun on my skin, a nice cooling breeze, refreshing rain. I enjoy a good book, movie or tv show. Fine food prepared by my hands and my family sharing fun moments. I love a good hot shower on cold days. And there is nothing better than time spent with great friends.
These are just a few things that I enjoy regularly and I am happy and fulfilled enough that no amount of material things can take the place of feeling like I do when enjoying my personal pleasures.

I agree, I think the finer things in life give you move pleasure than material things. I enjoy spening time with my fiancee and my family-my mum,dad,sister neice and nephew. I also enjoy relaxing in the garden on a warm summers day, having a BBQ. The most important thing in my life is my close family.

I love gardens. I wish we had a more extensive one with things that bloom all year round. We have lilacs that die within a few weeks, roses that didn't make it through the summer, tulips and peonies that just don't last. I want some that last darn it. lol.

It could be your soil, you may be growing the wrong type of plants for your soil. If you get a soil testing kit from your local garden center it will tell you what kind you have. :)
Im just doing all my garden up at the moment and I cant wait to get some nice plants planted in!!

Hi ,
I try to find simple joy in small things around me . I have always been easy to please . I fresh bundle of flowers from my fiance will have me happy all week 
Also, I am very happy when I am outside and feel the warm sun on my skin when I am lost in a wonderful book . After , I love to go for a swim . Swimming makes me very happy and is my little oasis of peace . Ball games make me happy , and spending time with all my loved ones

Wow you have one that gives you flowers?? He is definitely a keeper! We are like twins. We love all of the same types of things.

I have no idea, but I would like to add you back. I went through a while back and if someone wasn't on for awhile, I deleted them, but I thought you were still on. I am sorry for that.
Anyways, that is a good list. Not sure about Mad Magazine. lol. I have never read it, but will take your word for it.

I'l be glad when I reach 500 and I can do more stuff like cutting and pasting. I just lost my whole post because I messed up and then it all went away!
It's frustrating but I don't have much more to go before I'll hit 500 posts.
My favorite things are my son, my siter, my friends, and my pets. I'm ex[ecting my first grandchild this October. We already know it's a boy.
I enjoy having a home, a car, and I love being on the computer. I like watching TV and reading and I really enjoy my life. THe only thing I would like to change is that I would like to live in the country. That would be perfect.

Those sound like wonderful things. And I agree with you about the frustrating 500 post thing. I am glad to see since you posted this, that you made 500. Are you a pasting fool now?
